Steve Jobs’s daughter, Eve Jobs, revealed that she was not at all impressed with the brand new iPhone 14…
On Wednesday Eve reacted to the brand new iPhone model, by posting a popular meme.
And claimed that it’s more to less the same as the previous models.
Scroll down to find out more…
It’s hard to imagine that the iPhone in your possession now all came from an idea by 2 men in a garage in Los Altos…
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
It was there that the heart and soul of Apple Computer Inc grew.
Both Jobs and Wozniak had the vision to make computers small enough so it could be kept in people’s homes and workplaces.
In simple terms, they wanted the device to be user-friendly.
Jobs and Wozniak started building the first Apple product, which was called Apple I.
The Apple I didn’t come with a screen…
It was made out of wood and only had a keyboard.
Jobs and Wozniak did a much better job with the Apple II, which revolutionized the computing industry forever.
They introduced color graphics, which boosted sales from $7.8 million in 1978 to a huge $117 million dollars in 1980.
Due to the diminishing interest in the day-to-day running of Apple Computers, Wozniak left in 1983.
After Wozniak decided to leave Apple, Jobs then hired John Sculley to be president of the company.
It wasn’t a smart move by Jobs, as it backfired on him after many controversies with Sculley.
Jobs then left the very own company he created in 1985.
He went on to do new things.
He founded his own company known as NeXT, and he went on to found Pixar, which became a huge success in the 90s with the release of Toy Story.
But that didn’t mean Apple was falling apart because Jobs left.
Apple was doing extremely well in terms of sales throughout the 80s and 90s.
However, these plans were all jobs before he left the company.
It was back in 1985 that Sculley turned down a huge appeal from Bill Gates to license the software.
Remember, Apple and Microsoft were the 2 competitors.
The decision to turn down the appeal would later come back to bite Sculley because Microsoft, whose Windows operating system featured a graphical interface similar to Apple’s, became their toughest competition in the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s
Over the course of years, Apple was slowly dying, with sales dropping.
It was around 1996, that the company reached its peak, and people believed Apple to be doomed.
It was until 1997, that Apple was in desperate need of an operating system.
Sculley was probably banging his head on the wall after turning down Gates’s appeal.
So, how did they resolve the situation?
Apple decided to ask for help from an old friend.
Apple bought NeXT software.
Jobs then came back to Apple as interim CEO. He wasn’t officially a CEO until 2000.
Coming back to the company he once made, Jobs decided to do a little makeover for the company.
He allied with Microsoft, creating a Mac version of its popular software.
It wasn’t long after the decision that the company started to see sales skyrocket.
Jobs revamped the computers and introduced the iBook (a personal laptop), followed by iPod, an mp3 player, which became the market leader.
It was in 2007 that the first iPhone was introduced to the world.
It became one of the best-selling products the company has ever sold.
iPhone got rid of all those buttons you saw in a Blackberry or a Nokia, and replaced it with a huge screen (3.5 inches)
After its huge success, the company decided to build on the product, trying to make it bigger and better in every way (literally bigger and better).
3 years after the release of the first iPhone…
The iPhone 4 was unveiled.
The iPhone 4 had a screen size of 3.5 inches.
It had the Apple A4 chip inside, which could hold 512MB of RAM and 720 Pixel.
The iPhone 4 weighed around 137 grams, which was slightly heavier than the original, which weighed 133 grams.
The iPhone 4 was the first iPhone to feature Siri.
But then came the iPhone 5…
The iPhone 5 first introduced the finger ID, which was a huge selling point for Apple.
It had a screen size of 4 inches.
It could hold 64GB of storage.
It weighed 112 grams which was lighter than iPhone 3G and the iPhone 4.
It also had an 8-megapixel camera.
The iPhone 6 was then released in 2014…
The iPhone 6 had similar features as the iPhone 5, where you had the finger ID.
It had a screen size of 5.5 inches.
It could store up to 128GB, which is a huge jump from the previous iPhone, where you could only store up to 64GB.
The iPhone 6 weighed around 129 grams.
And had an 8-megapixel camera.
Then came the iPhone 7…
The iPhone 7 had a screen size of 4.7 inches.
The iPhone 7 also upgraded in terms of storage, where you were able to hold a whopping 256GB storage.
It weighed around 138 grams and had a 12-megapixel camera.
Next up was the iPhone 8…
The iPhone 8 had a screen size of 4.7 inches.
It could hold up to 256GB of storage.
It weighed 148 grams and it had a 12-megapixel camera.
Then along came the iPhone X…
The iPhone X first introduced a brand new feature, where you were able to unlock your phone, using face ID.
The iPhone X was the first iPhone to introduce the Max model.
The standard iPhone X had a screen size of 5.85 inches, whereas the iPhone XS had a screen size of 6.46 inches.
It could hold up to 256GB of storage.
It weighed 174 grams and had a 12-megapixel camera.
Not long after came the iPhone 11…
The iPhone 11 has a screen size of 6.06 inches.
It could hold up to 256GB of storage.
It weighed 194 grams and had a 12-megapixel camera.
What was next? You guessed it — the iPhone 12…
The iPhone 12 has a screen size of 6.7 inches, which is the biggest screen size the iPhone has done yet.
It could store a maximum of 512GB, depending on the model.
It weighed 135 grams and had a 12-megapixel camera.
Last year, the iPhone 13 was released…
The iPhone 13 has a screen size of 6.7 inches, depending on the model.
It could hold up to a massive 1TB storage.
It weighed around 174 grams and had a 12-megapixel camera.
Looking at the specification of all the iPhones…
Most of them are somewhat similar.
This is why Jobs’ daughter, Eve Jobs, took a jab at the new iPhone 14.
Eve reacted to Apple’s announcement of the new iPhone 14 by posting a popular meme but added her own twist of shade.
The meme implies that people who upgrade from the iPhone 13 to the iPhone 14 aren’t getting anything different from before.
And it looks like Eve isn’t alone in her opinion…
As many have pointed out that the tech specs between the iPhone 13 and 14 are the same including screen size, refresh rate, storage, CPU, and cameras.
What do you think?
