Maya Hawke has slowly become one of the “most talked”about teens on Netflix, after fans discovered a surprising revelation about her personal life.
The last instalment of Stranger Things was aired over 1 month ago, and since then fans have been going gaga over Maya Hawke…

The science-fiction show was greeted by ecstatic fans, who were already keen on mentioning their favorite stars, the characters and even the interesting storylines to others on social media.
But one particular actor has gotten all the attention so far – can you guess who?

Obviously… Maya Hawke!

According to Glamour Magazine, fans have loved Maya since she joined the show in series 3.
According to reports, the makers added a “shiny new female” to the main cast, which was a brilliant idea…

As Maya worked alongside Millie Bobby Brown’s character, Eleven, and Sadie Sink’s Max, and her character, Robin Buckley, broke stereotypes, particularly when she “came out as a lesbian.”
But did you know, Maya Hawke is the daughter of Hollywood actors Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke?

And now fans have gone crazy, after getting to know the close resemblance between Hawke and her parents, because it’s “impossible to ignore.”
“I just also discovered that Maya Hawke, Stranger Things’ very own Robin, is the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. WTH!!!,” said one excited fan on Twitter.

While another wrote: “how did most people not know maya hawke is the daughter of uma thurman and ethan hawke??? the genes are SO STRONG.”
While we are all excited for the next installment, especially as the release date is just around the corner…

It’s safe to say the season 3 finale had us all asking questions.
But, just as we thought that it was going to end and we were wiping our tears away, they played a scene during the credits that completely threw a spanner in the works…

And left us all with even more questions that desperately needed answering.
And thankfully, the first instalment of the fourth season did exactly that, and then some!

But now we’re all hanging on the edge of our seats for the next part. Are our favorite characters safe, will eleven be able to defeat Vecna, and will we get to see Steve Harrington’s magnificent chest hair a second time?
The producer, Shawn Levy, previously shared that the latest season is set to impress as they have been even more “ambitious” with the script this time around…

“I’ll just say that we are long-delayed, and the Duffers and I want to share Season 4 with the world as badly as the world wants it,” Levy told The Hollywood Reporter.
“Part of what’s taking time is long before Covid and the pandemic existed, Season 4 was built to be by far the most ambitious, cinematic, sprawling, and epic season that we’ve ever done.

“By not just a little — by a lot. So the complexity of Season 4, even before we had the obstacles, hurdles, and challenges of a pandemic, is taking a lot of time because it is super worth the wait.”
And it’s not long until volume 2, but for now, we’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for the gang.

While we wait, let’s take a deep dive into the cast, and how they’ve evolved from the start of the 1st season, which premiered back in 2016.
When the stars started out in the show, they were all just entering their teens, matching up pretty well with their characters’ ages. But now, they’re aged 17-20, while still playing fourteen-year-olds.

And fans have been pretty vocal about this fact on social media…
One Twitter user wrote: “Stranger Things is officially at the point where I cannot tell any of the kid characters’ ages. They all look 16 and/or 26, depending on the shot.”

Another wrote: “These kids in stranger things so old they got crows feet now.”
“Yo the Stranger Things kids be looking old lmao,” a third echoed.
Currently, Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) is 18, Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) is 17, Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) is 19, Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Charles Sinclair) is 20, Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield) is 20, and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) is 19.

As for the older members of the group, Natalia Dyer is 25, but Nancy Wheeler is 18. Jonathan Byers, played by Charlie Heaton is roughly the same age despite being 28 in real life. And Joe Keery turned 30 in April, however, Steve Harrington is just 19. Then there’s Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn, who is 30, playing a 20-year-old.
Speaking about the characters’ age differences, the cast gave an interview with Today, Matarazzo (Dustin) said: “It’s something we’re always thinking about, but it’s something we work with pretty well I think.

“The characters are at transitional periods in their lives… it’s crazy to see what all of us looked like when we first started.”
Schnapp (Will Byers) added: “I remember in season two they told me you need to lower the pitch of your voice, you have to speak at a different level and stand shorter, I was like, ‘I can’t do that, I’m not like that anymore.'”

The second volume is due to come out on July 1, we can’t wait!
