Now, the handling of the Supreme Court by Donald Trump was highly controversial.

Including the rushed way Amy Coney Barrett was nominated.

The man really knew how to spark global outrage.

While maintaining a healthy number of very loyal supporters.

But in 2019, he paid the price for it.

Trump underwent an impeachment trial on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

And even though the Senate acquitted Trump of these charges on February 5, 2020, the impeachment left a nasty stain on the president’s reputation.

And, to make things even worse…

Shortly after the impeachment charges were dropped, the world was hit by the coronavirus pandemic which Trump went on to handle awfully.

The people of America were left grieving and feeling angry…

But of course, this didn’t stop him from running as president for a second term in last year’s 2020 elections.

And right up until November 3rd, when the votes started to get counted, Trump continued to spread lies about Biden and his campaign team in a desperate bid to be reelected.

On November 7th, it was confirmed that Joe Biden had won the election by amassing 284 electoral college seats to Trump’s 214.

But Trump’s refusal to concede to Biden only poured more fuel on his army of angry supporters…

And this lead to the shocking scenes at the U.S Capitol building on January 6th as thousands of angry Trump supporters flocked and broke into the prestigious building.
5 people in total sadly died, including 1 police officer.

This lead to Trump being suspended indefinitely from all major social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Of course, we all know how much Trump loved Twitter, so this was a huge deal.

But, along with the social media ban, Trump’s lack of concern over his supporter’s violence got Congress talking…

And Nancy Pelosi, along with many other members of Congress, impeached Trump for the second time in his presidency – making him the only president in history to be impeached twice.

Trump has been lying relatively low since President Biden’s inauguration…

But although he lost the election, the Republic majority in the Supreme Court has remained.

But now this looks like it may be set to change.

With Biden introducing a new bill to add 4 Democrat judges – but it’s a controversial move …

If the bill is passed, Biden will fill 4 more Supreme Court seats and give Democrats a 7-6 majority.

But it’s believed to be very unlikely to pass – at least not anytime soon.
