Rest In Peace, Suzanne Somers.

ThighMaster queen, Suzanne Somers, battles recurrent breast cancer, batting back the ‘little f***er’ with unwavering spirit and inspiring resilience.

In the world of Hollywood, few stars shine as brightly as Suzanne Somers. Known for her iconic role in “Three’s Company,” and for being the aerobics queen behind the ThighMaster, she’s been a beacon of positivity and resilience for decades. Recently, however, Somers has been making headlines for a different reason: her ongoing battle with breast cancer.

In an interview with Page Six, Somers confirmed this week that her breast cancer has returned. Despite this, she remains determined not to let her diagnosis “control” her life. “I have been living with cancer since my 20s. And every time that little f—ker pops up, I continue to bat it back,” she said. “I do my best not to let this insidious disease control me.”

Suzanne Somers is still an active fitness/health/longevity guru well into her 70s.

Somers’ battle with cancer is not a new one. She was diagnosed with skin cancer in her 30s, breast cancer in her 50s, and has dealt with two hyperplasias in her 20s. Despite these challenges, she has remained resilient and determined, crediting her “unbelievably supportive” family and her extremely healthy lifestyle as the reasons why she hasn’t succumbed to the disease.

In a statement to Good Morning America, Somers shared, “As you know, I had breast cancer two decades ago, and every now and then it pops up again, and I continue to bat it down. I have used the best alternative and conventional treatments to combat it. This is not new territory for me. I know how to put on my battle gear and I’m a fighter.”

Her husband, Alan Hamel, has been a constant source of support throughout her journey. In the same statement, Somers expressed her gratitude for him, saying, “Alan has been by my side every step of the way. I can’t even explain how much he has done for me. If it’s even possible, we are even closer than ever.”

Somers’ journey with cancer has been a long one, marked by multiple battles and recurrences. In an exclusive statement to Entertainment Tonight, she revealed, “I have been living with cancer since my 20’s. And every time that little f***** pops up, I continue to bat it back. I do my best not to let this insidious disease control me.”

The actress has also been public about her health issues. In light of her recent cancer battle, Somers is reportedly taking a break from work. This decision reflects her focus on prioritizing her health and well-being.
