After being married for over twenty-five years, legendary actor Sylvester Stallone’s wife has now filed for divorce.
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin began dating back in 1988…
But briefly broke up in 1994 after Stallone admitted to having an affair with model Janice Dickinson.
However, things took a different turn when the couple reconciled in 1995…
And were married 2 years later.
They now share 3 beautiful daughters together, Scarlet, Sistine, and Sophia.
Rumors of a split began to circulate when the actor covered up a tattoo of Flavin with an image of a dog.
While the speculations went on and on, Stallone’s publicist released a statement on the matter.
“Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer however the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.
“As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from Rocky, Butkus,” the statement read.
“Mr. Stallone loves his family. The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together which will debut on Paramount+,” the statement concluded.
The rumors were fuelled further when Flavin took to Instagram to post a photo with her 3 girls and from then onwards, fans started to speculate their marriage was on rocky rivers.
“These girls are my priority. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever,” she captioned the post.
And they were right…
“Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate,” read the divorce documents obtained by TMZ.
“Equity dictates that the Wife be compensated and made whole by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favor. Moreover, the Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings,” they stated.
Both Stallone and Flavin have not made public statements as of yet.
