Taco Bell has finally listened to the people and is bringing back one of its most iconic menu items…
Now, without a doubt, Mexican food is the number 1 top pick here in the U.S.
Whether it’s a quick meal, or a drunken snack, there’s nothing better.
And we are beyond grateful!
Burritos, tacos, enchiladas… Who could pick?
And, when it comes to this type of cuisine, there’s only one fast-food venue.
Taco Bell, of course!
And this week, the internet is rejoicing…
Because they have decided to bring back a classic menu item.
We all know Taco Bell has an extensive menu…
But that also means they’re not afraid to pull classic items.
But it seems like they realized their mistake with this one.
Just a few months after Taco Bell removed potatoes from its menu…
The chain was inundated with customers’ demanding their return.
Well, those demands have been answered: the company has officially announced it will permanently reinstate their potato-based menu items in March.
On March 11th, Taco Bell will begin serving Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Spicy Potato Soft Tacos again, and we can’t wait!
The news comes after the fast-food chain teased the announcement on social media.
“The return of our beloved potatoes is just the first step in showing our fans the strong continued commitment to vegetarian we are making this year,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer. “We have long been a leader in the vegetarian space, but this year, we have more meatless options in store that vegetarians, veggie-curious, and even meat-eaters will love.”
The Spicy Potato Soft Taco will go for around $1, while the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes will go for around $1.49.
Potatoes can also be substituted for fillings in other menu items.
Roll on March 11th!
