Queer Eye star, Tan France, recently welcomed his first son with his husband, Rob.
The thirty-eight-year-old stylist took to Instagram to share the wonderful news with his fans, revealing that the pair actually welcomed baby Ismail last month but because he was born prematurely, he had to spend 3 weeks in NICU.
"Give our son a warm welcome," Tan wrote alongside 2 beautiful snapshots of the first-time parents. "Ismail France, born July 10th. He came 7 weeks early, so he's been in the NICU for the past 3 weeks. But, today, we finally got to bring him home.
He continued: "We love him so, so much. Like, fully obsessed. Our surrogate is doing so great, post-labor, and we couldn't be more grateful for the greatest gift in our lives."
Tan first announced that he and Rob were expecting their first child - with the help of a "wonderful surrogate" - earlier this year. In April, the British fashion designer posted a shirtless picture of himself along with a baby scan writing: "So happy to finally share that WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!"
"No, I'm not pregnant, despite this VERY realistic pic," he continued, poking fun at the editing of the snapshot. "With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this Summer. Something we've wanted for soooo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love."
Tan's husband, who is an illustrator, also dedicated a post to the exciting news: "We have a beautiful little angel on the way and I didn't think it was humanly possible to feel like this," he said.
And most recently, he also reposted the same photograph of him and Tan holding their beautiful baby boy adding in the caution that they were his "two loves."
Adorable or what?
Tan, who is a Muslim, and Rob, who is a Mormon, first met on a dating website back in 2008, before they got married in 2011. In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Tan revealed that their religious backgrounds actually brought them closer together.
"It made it easier to date somebody who had similarities to me. I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke," he said. "We practice some of our religions' practices. We don't practice them all. We practice what works for us."
And he has a lot to thank his husband for as Rob was the one that apparently pushed him to do the reboot of Queer Eye so we owe you for that one!
Congratulations to the new fathers, we can't wait to see some more adorable snapshots of baby Ismail very soon!
