Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are having some trouble coordinating their schedules.
Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl once again!
Sunday’s victory
Patrick Mahomes’ squad played in a nail biter on Sunday, taking the win over the Baltimore Ravens on their home field.
His girlfriend was right by his side cheering him on from a suite along with a lot of his family, including his brother, Jason Kelce.
Unfortunately, as they make their way to Las Vegas for the big game, Kelce’s good luck charm might not be in the stands.
Taylor’s dilemma…
Obviously, Travis isn’t the only superstar in the relationship, so balancing schedules can be rough.
While Swift has managed to make it to 11 of her boyfriend’s games since the start of their relationship in 2023, she still has her own obligations to consider.
Taylor is currently in the midst of her Eras Tour, the sixth global world tour of her career.
The Super Bowl will be held on Sunday, February 11–just one day after Swift plays a show in Japan.
The singer also has the Australian leg of The Eras Tour just four days after the big game, another location where time zones are completely flipped.
A tough decision
Obviously, if anyone can do it, Taylor can.
The singer owns two private jets, so it’s possible that she jumps right on the plane after her performance in Japan.
A direct flight from Japan to Las Vegas, where the Super Bowl is being held, would take Swift just under 12 hours.
That time in the air is nothing to scoff at, but luckily, time zones are on her side.
Her concert starts at 6pm and should probably finish around 9pm local time in Japan.
With the time difference, she would finish her show at 1am local time the day before the Super Bowl in Vegas.
Another sad reality…
While Swift might be able to manage making it to her boyfriend’s event, he definitely won’t be at hers.
It should go without saying that if Kelce does play in the Super Bowl, he won’t be taking any international flights the day before.
Sadly, Kelce won’t be able to make it to support Swift’s at the Grammys, either.
Even though he doesn’t have a game this Sunday, the Chiefs star will be on a strict schedule leading up to the highly anticipated game.
With that being said, Travis has no time to travel, even to Los Angeles for the awards show.
Taylor is up for six Grammys
The singer is hoping to take home awards for record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance, best pop duo/group performance and best pop vocal album.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee show on Wednesday, Kelce said: “I wish I could go and support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she is nominated for.”
“But I think I’ve got practice on Sunday, or it is a travel day? No, I’ve got practice on Saturday, Sunday is a travel day,” he said. “I’ve got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl.”
