Marine Sgt. Nick Walsh loved his 1991 Ford Bronco...

So much so that he vowed to one day pass it down to his son.

Sadly, those dreams came crashing down...

In 2007, Sgt. Walsh was on deployment in Iraq...

When he was hit and killed by sniper fire.

He was only twenty-six...

Barely old enough to remember his dad...

Triston’s mom kept the car...

Triston, who was almost turning sixteen, wasn't aware of any of it.

Tristan's mom actually told him that she had sold his dad's old car to buy him a new one.

Which obviously caused his great distress...

All he wanted was to feel close to his dad...
