Terry Crews is in trouble... yet again.

Keep scrolling to see why people are so offended by his recent words about things "only a father can give you"...

Terry Crews hasn't had an easy few weeks...

And he's now caused even more anger over some comments about "only things a father can give you." But firstly, let's start from the beginning...

Crews is one of the most iconic faces in Hollywood...

The fifty-one-year-old has a very full resume that stretches back for decades.

As a young man in the 1980s, he started out as an American football player...

He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft. This career included stints with the Rams, the San Diego Chargers, the Washington Redskins, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

When he retired from the NFL in 1997...

Crews moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career after having a long-standing ambition to work in the film industry.

He made several appearances in commercials and music videos...

And despite having never taken acting classes, Crews' breakout role came in Friday After Next (2002) starring rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube, for whom Crews had previously worked as on-set security.

Over the years, Crews has starred in mainly comedic roles...

His hilarious role in White Chicks (2004) rocketed him to fame and he soon became recognized as the muscley comedian that he is known and loved for today.

The actor has been married since 1989...

Rebecca King-Crews has been by his side for decades now, and it's safe to say that they make one of Hollywood's best couples. They share 5 children together and one grandchild.

And when Rebecca recently announced that she had beaten breast cancer...

Fans were left overjoyed for the couple.

So it's safe to say it has been a pretty great few years for the actor...

Up until now, that is.

It all started when the actor posted some controversial tweets a few weeks ago...

And it was in regards to the Black Lives Matter movement that has taken over the world in the last few weeks.

He tweeted:

"Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together."

Tyler James Williams, who starred with Crews in Everybody Hates Chris, was one of the first to condemn the actor’s tweet.

Crews replied saying he understands that black supremacy doesn't exist, but "if both Black and Whites don’t continue to work together - bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness."

Many other famous faces began challenging Crews' ideology...

And the actor was quick to reply to many in a desperate attempt to defend his words.

Crews then accused people of twisting his words...

Which isn't exactly the case when the evidence is laid out in front of us in black and white on our Twitter feeds.

A day later, the actor decided to take a different approach...

"I believe it is important we not suffer from groupthink, and we keep minds of our own, and be allowed to ask difficult questions to each other. I believe this dialogue is important as we get through this trauma together. I love you," he wrote.

He then tweeted this...

"Please know that everything I've said comes from a spirit of love and reconciliation, for the Black community first, then the world as a whole, in hopes to see a better future for Black people."

The actor stressed that he wants to put the black community first...

And many fans thanked him for speaking his truth.

But of course...

There are still people out there who wish for Crew's silence during these turbulent times.

But Crews clearly isn't willing to remain silent...

And his most recent words have sparked even more fury.

Crews took to Instagram over the weekend to share a project he has been working on...

The film is called I Am A Father, and it names black men – all fathers – who had died during interactions with the police, including George Floyd and Philando Castile.

The powerful video features actors such as Michael Ealy and Blair Underwood...

And Crews decided to caption his post with: "The three things only a Father can give you - Your NAME. Your INHERITANCE. Your SECURITY."

Fans were not impressed, to say the least...

And people immediately began to give Crews real-life examples of how people without father figures were able to have their own names, inheritance, and security from other family members.

Grandparents, mothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings...

The list of people who can provide these 3 things is endless.

People began coming forward with stories about their abusive father figures...

And they explained that in many circumstances, a father can be the one to give trust and emotional issues.

And as this Twitter user demonstrated...

So many people have relied on their moms, and their moms alone, when it comes to being brought up and having a parental figure in their lives.

People found Crews' comment to be disrespectful...

And quite frankly, a slap in the face to all of those single moms out there who have raised their children without a father figure.

Crews was also accused of being disrespectful towards women...

Things really aren't looking good for the actor right now.

Crews is yet to respond to the backlash...

And we're pretty sure it won't take him long, so make sure to stay posted for further updates.
