There has been another fatality due to the snowstorms that continue to ravage Southern states here in the U.S and it's proving just how dire the situation is.

Twenty-four people have now died as a result of the snowstorm...
And the latest fatality has left everyone shocked...
The unforgivable winter storm is wreaking havoc in numerous southern U.S states...
But Texas is perhaps the worst affected.
According to The Guardian, professionals have noted that the heating of the arctic may be to blame for this chaotic change in the weather.
Especially for the snowstorms that have been affecting the people of Texas.
They explained the situation:
"[Experts claim] there is evidence that the rapid heating of the Arctic can help push frigid air from the north pole much further south, possibly to the US-Mexico border."
Things have gotten so bad in the last few weeks that people have been forced to evacuate their homes...
And due to the addition of heavy snowstorms and below-freezing temperatures, the state has been left completely powerless in most areas.
Texans are doing their best to push through this difficult period...

That had literally frozen to the ceiling and had icicles dangling down from it.

And people are feeling very unnerved seeing their swimming pools become completely frozen over.
Who knows how long this nightmare will last...
But sadly, it seems as if things are nowhere near close to returning back to normal.
And now, one man has been found frozen to death as a result...
Abilene Fire Chief Cande Flores revealed that 3 people died in Abilene this week due to the freezing temperatures.
One of the fatalities was a homeless man...
The man in his late 50s was found outside on Monday morning.
Another man was found dead in his home after having no power for 3 days...
Resident Josh Casey wrote on Facebook the man "froze to death in his recliner" and his wife was "nearly dead" next to him. She has since been taken to hospital.
"Please go check on your neighbors," Casey said.
The other victim was suffering from a medical condition, making him unable to get the resources he desperately needed when the power went out.
