Ever since the birth of the "Me Too" movement, more and more celebrities and men of power have been exposed for their sexual misconduct.

The movement initially began back in 2006, when a woman named Tarana Burke started to speak out against sexual harassment and assault, particularly in the workplace.

It took ten years for the phrase to start trending on social media...

But, in 2016, the newly viral #metoo hashtag sparked a vital conversation about sexual violence.

And, as the hashtag gained traction...

More and more famous figures, such as Gweneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Lady Gaga began sharing their own stories of sexual assault.

Thousands of women began opening up about their own experiences...

And Charmed actress, Alyssa Milano, suggested that any man or woman who had been sexually harassed or assaulted should tweet “Me too", in order to show the magnitude of this problem.

Well, the hashtag has gone on to open up a huge can of worms.

Fast forward to today, and industry giants such as Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein have been outed, shamed, and reprimanded for their disgusting sexual attacks.

The hashtag has proven that no one is too powerful to get away with sexual assault...

And women are feeling more empowered than ever before to speak out against their attackers.

Over the last couple of years, so many famous faces have been accused of sexual assault and misconduct...

Kevin Spacey, Chris Brown and R. Kelly are just a few of the names among the extensive list of men accused of rape, sexual assault, and/or underage grooming.

And more recently, comedian Chris D'Elia has been accused by several women of underage grooming.

Numerous screenshots of messenger conversations with the comedian have been shared on social media and his behavior towards these young women was predatory, to say the least.

And the fact that D'Elia recently played a predatory character on Netflix's You has shocked many...

That surely can't be a coincidence?

Nobody can get away with their despicable actions...

And this accusation is yet another shocking one.

That '70s Show star Danny Masterson has been charged with multiple counts of rape.

According to TMZ, he was taken into custody Wednesday morning around 11:30 AM.

Masterson has been known as a successful actor and DJ for many years now...

But this isn't the actor's first time being accused of sexual assault.

Back in 2017, 4 women filed sexual assault allegations against Masterson...

And in 2019, 4 more women filed a lawsuit against Masterson and the Church of Scientology for stalking and harassment, stemming from their rape allegations.

The actor has always denied these allegations made against him...

But the charges that have just been placed upon him have stemmed from allegations made over the last few years, showing that the likelihood of Masterson being guilty is very likely.

The most recent charges against the actor were announced on Wednesday by Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey.

She said her office has charged the actor with three counts of felony forcible rape involving three different women - all of whom are being identified as Jane Does.

The alleged rapee, according to the D.A, occurred between 2001 and late 2003...

Which was right in the middle of That '70s Show run.

Masterson's attorney, Tom Mesereau, told TMZ:

"Mr. Masterson is innocent, and we’re confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify."

He then added:

"Obviously, Mr. Masterson and his wife are in complete shock considering that these nearly 20-year old allegations are suddenly resulting in charges being filed, but they and their family are comforted knowing that ultimately the truth will come out. The people who know Mr. Masterson know his character and know the allegations to be false."

If convicted on all charges, Danny faces forty-five years to life behind bars...

But unbelievably, the actor has been released on bail - which has left people furious.

Many believe that the Church of Scientology has a lot to do with Masterson's release...

And so many people have lashed out against both the church and the actor for being able to get away with these hideous crimes.

People believe the Church has its very own group of attorneys...

Which would explain a lot, we must say.

All we can do is hope that justice will be served eventually...
