The top 10 most beautiful women in the world have been revealed using the Golden Ratio theory…
Cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva has studied the faces of some of our favorite celebrities…

And now, Silva has whittled them down to the most beautiful according to the Ancient Greek theory of “divine proportion,” which uses maths to calculate how symmetrical a face is.
The Golden Ratio looks at the proportions of features and their placement on the face.

The cosmetic surgeon used this theory, which became prevalent in the Renaissance, to help him understand what is considered most attractive.
It is important to note that ‘beauty’ and ‘imperfection’ are abstract and mean something different to everybody, so this theory should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That being said, let’s take a look at who Silva deems to have the most beautiful faces according to societal beauty standards…
Coming in at number 10 we have Cara Delevingne…

Cara is undoubtedly stunning… I mean she was a Victoria’s Secret Angel, so that speaks for itself!
Cara started out in the modeling industry at a young age, signing with the agency Storm Management as soon as she left school.

She had her first modeling job at age ten in an editorial shot for Vogue Italia, and later went on to win Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2012 and 2014.
Despite all this, she still only manages to bag tenth place on Silva’s list…

With an 89.99% symmetrical face.
In 9th place, we have Katy Perry.

Now, it’s no shock that the pop icon is on the list, with her big blue eyes and perfect eyebrows, there’s no denying she’s beautiful.
Although it might come as a slight surprise that a singer has scored better than a model.

Crazy!
Saying that, who doesn’t love Katy Perry?

Since making her debut in 2004, the pop singer has become a household name.
With some catchy songs…

Her many anthems have since become the pinnacle of club music, with “Firework” and “Roar” making any night out a triumph!
And Katy is known for her interesting style.

While she can definitely belt out a tune, Katy is also known for her likable personality and her interesting fashion choices.
But it’s her face that has seemingly caught the eye of Silva, who placed her at number 9 on his list.

According to the cosmetic surgeon, Perry has a 90.08% symmetrical face.
Next, at number 8, we have Natalie Portman.

Natalie was thrust into the spotlight aged just twelve years old when she began her acting career.
She has since gone on to become a critically acclaimed actress and is undoubtedly as beautiful as she is intelligent…

She is not only vocal about politics here in the U.S. as well as in Israel, where she was born, but she is also an advocate for animal rights and environmental causes.
According to Silva’s calculations, Natalie doesn’t quite reach the top spot.

With 90.51% facial symmetry.
At number 7 is Scarlett Johansson.

Scarlett stole all our hearts when she took on the role of Marvel superhero Black Widow.
She could easily be classed as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

And Silva believes there’s a reason why.
Symmetrically, Scarlett’s face fits almost perfectly within the Golden Ratio.

Although she doesn’t quite make it to the top spot, with 90.91%.
The supermodel first rose to fame in the early ’90s…

And became known for sporting the heroin-chic fashion trend.
Over the years her fame has skyrocketed, and she is now known as a fashion icon.

In 2012, she came second on the Forbes top-earning models list.
It seems she caught the eye of Silva…

According to his calculations, she has a facial symmetry of 91.64%.
Next is Ariana Grande at number 4.

Ariana has made waves with her music over the years.
Her style and sound have certainly had a lasting impact on this generation.

But her appearance, according to Silva, is also one of the most notable things about the star.
The defamation trial between her and Johnny Depp was watched by millions.

And it’s safe to say Depp’s fans might not agree with Silva on this one.
In at number 2 is Beyoncé.

The singer has managed to bag second place on Silva’s list, and it’s not hard to see why.
We’re all aware that Beyoncé is a global superstar.

She just doesn’t miss, and she’s built up a huge fan base because of it.
The singer rose to fame in the ’90s as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child.

And her success boomed from there.
But this isn’t the reason Silva put her at the top of the list…

It’s because she has a 92.44% facial symmetry.
And finally, coming in at the top spot is Bella Hadid.

And it seems that fans have mixed reactions to the news that the model is the most beautiful woman in the world.
According to Silva, her facial symmetry is insane!
Bella Hadid is well known for making waves in the fashion industry.

She started out in the public eye, making cameos in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but soon became a runway superstar.
Her sister Gigi is ingrained in the industry. So much so, that New York Fashion Week wouldn’t be the same without her.

And it wasn’t long before Bella made a name for herself too. She famously followed her sister onto the stage of New York Fashion Week back in 2014 and was quickly snapped up by fashion magazine Jalouse to shoot her first cover later the same year.
The supermodel duo quickly shot to fame, and have amassed a large following on social media, with fans in awe of their effortless beauty…

And we can see why!
Silva’s study has revealed the secret behind Bella’s success.

The study revealed that Bella’s face is the closest to the “Golden Ratio” ideal.
This means that she has the most scientifically beautiful face in the world!

Her face was proven to be around 94.35% perfect.
