Fans were left severely grossed out by Harry Hamlin after he posed for a “creepy” photo with his daughter Delilah.
But now the real truth behind the image has been revealed.

The picture came from an event at New York Fashion Week, where the Mad Men actor was in attendance.
The seventy-year-old was alongside daughter Delilah and wife Lisa Rinna.
The whole family, including another daughter Amelia, has been regulars on The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills.

Before his marriage to Lisa Rinna, Hamlin was with Swiss actress Ursula Andress, whom he met on the set of Clash of the Titans.

The star has also been involved with actresses Laura Johnson and Nicollete Sheridan.
He was married to Johnson between 1985 to 1989, and to Sheridan from 1991 to 1992.
However, Hamlin has been married to television host and actress Lisa Rinna since 1997.
He met the Days of Our Lives actress back in 1993.

Hamlin and Delilah posed for a host of photos at the time of the PRISCAVera Fashion Show.
Most of the photos are perfectly lovely snaps of father and daughter.
However, one pic in particular really got people talking…
It blew up after it was shared by a fan account on Instagram.
“This is not how I pose with my dad,” wrote the poster.
Fans have gone wild in the comments, with one person writing: “Looks a bit too intimate.”

One person said “this is just wrong,” whereas another said “sooo cringe.”
“This is disgusting,” said one fan, with another saying “I’m so uncomfortable.”
It seems like Hamlin and Delilah were a little bit too close for comfort for some fans…
But now, an insider has revealed all about the controversial snap.
“He is a proud father who was just about to whisper in her ear how proud he is of her,” they told Page Six.
Photographer Manny Carabel agreed, saying, the pics were “manipulated into something they were not” and “flipped completely out of context.”
“As Delilah has a history in modeling, she immediately began to strike a pose, if you will, while Harry innocently posed next to her in [a position] he thought would compliment her best, as any father would,” Carabel went on.
“In no way were any of [Harry’s] movements or demeanor flirtatious, inappropriate or anything derailed from being a loving father.”
Hamlin is reportedly “disgusted” by all the “shameful” comments.
