There Is No Evidence of Voter Fraud, Observers Say | 22 Words

The Trump campaign recently set up the election fraud hotline, which has since been bombarded with prank calls, and it's clear to see why, as there has been absolutely no evidence of voter fraud...

It's been a rough week for Donald Trump.

As you will all be aware by now, the president suffered a colossal loss to his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, for this year's presidential elections.

Of course, Trump has been doing everything in his power to challenge the result...

But he has faced a whole lot of ridicule as a result. Even the OAS has given a report regarding his false claims of voter fraud...

Now, this year's presidential election has been perhaps the most anticipated in decades.

And, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.

However, it brought with it a lengthy counting process.

As a result of the increased numbers of mail-in ballots this year, Americans far and wide were left waiting in anticipation for days for any form of result or conclusion.

Though polls across the country closed on Tuesday, November 3rd...

It took days for a result to be announced. As the days trickled by, each State gradually announced their winning candidate and, throughout those tense couple of days, the numbers remained painfully close between President Trump and former vice president, Joe Biden.

Trump was clearly feeling the heat...

And, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, States where Joe Biden was projected to win.

He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...

And then went on to threaten legal action against any State wherein Biden had won.

Though a Biden campaign lawyer brushed off the threats as "meritless."

“I want to emphasize that for their purposes these lawsuits don’t have to have merit. That’s not the purpose. ... It is to create an opportunity for them to message falsely about what’s taking place in the electoral process," lawyer, Bob Bauer said, accusing the Trump campaign of “continually alleging irregularities, failures of the system and fraud without any basis."

But, regardless of his many threats, the result were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.

The Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College.

Shortly after his victory, Biden Tweeted this:

"America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans -whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me."

Democrats all over the country have been rejoicing at the news of Biden's historic win...

And remarkable footage of people cheering and celebrating from the streets of New York was quick to circulate.

However, there's someone who isn't in the mood for celebrating...

And that's President Trump, of course.

Now, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous.

Though the president is a historically sore loser - he's very rarely had to admit defeat ever in his life - and has long made wild accusations against the Biden campaign team, people simply cannot believe his refusal to accept what has happened.

His first response to Biden's win was to release a lengthy and damning statement...

In which he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. As per Sky News, the statement read: “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. “The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. “In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process.  Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

The statement then went on to explain how legal proceedings will begin immediately.

It continued: “Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated. “The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. “It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room - and then fight in court to block their access. “So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American People have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands."

And the frenzied Twitter rants were quick to follow.

In his rage, Trump took to the social media platform to dispute the result further, insisting that he was the one to have won.

He tried to take some small victory from the situation...

And proudly Tweeted that he received a record-breaking number of votes. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Don.

However, more damning accusations were quick to follow...

Trump seems set on the idea that Biden and his team rigged the entire election to play out in their favor, and made strong hints that something happened in the counting rooms that had "never happened before."

And it didn't take him long to slam the Biden campaign as "thieves."

"The big city machines are corrupt. This was a stolen election. Best pollster in Britain wrote this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it’s impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states."

Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, also held a press conference following the result...

Where he, too, repeated the allegations that the election was tainted by widespread voter fraud.

However, the Trump campaign has so far not produced any sufficient evidence to justify their claims...

Which has prompted people to accuse them of fraud.

Anyway, a small issue of lack of evidence isn't going to stop Trump from trying to get his own way...

Because, just days after the result, his campaign team has now set up an election fraud hotline number.

It's probably the most Donald Trump move of 2020, isn't it?

Anyway, the hotline was set up in the Trump campaign's headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, so people - presumably republicans - could report any shady goings-on they had noticed at their voting stations.

Trump's son, Eric Trump, took to Twitter to advertise the new hotline:

"Help stop voter suppression, irregularities, and fraud. Tell us what you're seeing."

But, of course...

Most people have seen the phone number as a golden opportunity to have a little bit of much-needed fun.

Instead of receiving genuine calls from concerned Republicans, the hotline has instead been plagued by prank calls.

Who'd have guessed it?

And, luckily for our viewing pleasure, some of the pranksters have been sharing their exploits online.

For instance, this TikTok user filmed herself calling the hotline, where she tells an audibly fed-up call center worker that an "obese turtle had rolled over onto it's back", before being firmly hung-up on.

And this guy took the pranking to a whole new level.

He decided to play on the "hamburglar" joke and informs the female call handler that he had witnessed a man smuggling in hamburgers to a voting center. He then asks to speak with Rudy Giuliani before the handler abruptly ends the call.

He called back, though...

And this time proceeded to tell the call handler how he had committed voter fraud by blatantly stealing "hundreds" of ballots from the box, before adding that he was proud of it. He too, was hung-up on.

However, despite the onslaught of prank calls, observers say there's no actual evidence any voter fraud took place...

Trump’s claims have clearly lost him a lot of respect.

Twenty-eight international observers from the Organization of American States (OAS) all watched the election...

And have since stated that there is no evidence of fraud in any account.

The observers were each given a placement which included; Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, and Washington DC...

Where they would observe the election as part of the Electoral Observation Mission.

The organization gave a statement about the president...

Saying he "Accused electoral workers of electoral fraud, and reiterated that his campaign would pursue its complaints through the courts."

The OAS clearly stated that there was no fraudulent activity found...

"The OAS observers deployed in the battleground states of Michigan and Georgia did not witness any of the aforementioned irregularities."

They added no "serious irregularities that call into question the results so far" were noted.

Due to the pandemic, there were far fewer vote counters allowed to take part, saying: "The size of the country and challenges deriving from the COVID-19 pandemic did not allow the OAS to deploy a larger or more widely-dispersed Mission."

It also explained:

"In determining the states in which it hoped to observe, the Mission applied the following criteria: 1) states that allow international observers; 2) plurality of electoral systems and organization; 3) geographic representation, and 4) political trends."

So it seems as though the Trump administration doesn't have anything to back their claims...
