I have an old picnic basket that my mom gave me and plenty of old, ratty blankets, so I plan to go out to my backyard every chance I get and have a fun little picnic with my husband and our dogs. Then again, maybe not the dogs. Because they’re going to try to eat the food, so, probably that’s not a great idea. Dogs or not, most people choose to have their picnics in a fancier way than me, out in a park with a gorgeous charcuterie spread. I was recently invited to a ~fancier~ picnic and was at a total loss of what to wear. So, I dug around and found a whole bunch of options. Check them out! This is the perfect picnic dress. It’s light, breezy, and pretty long, so you don’t have to worry about navigating sitting down and standing up without flashing the world. When I saw it, I immediately thought of “picnic” and had to have it.

Tie sandals are very early aughts picnic in the park. I had one pair of flats because I’m bad at heels, and I wore them until the straps broke off years after purchasing them. These are the perfect platform sandals for me. I can bring back the early aughts style I loved while embracing heels and learning to love them.

I love these pants! They’re a bit of fun and on-trend, and they can go with pretty much anything because they’re just so out there. You can pair this with a graphic tee, a plain white tee, a chunky sweater, anything! They’re cropped, so they’re great for a picnic in the warm weather.

Is this not the cutest thing? It looks like a picnic basket, but it’s a purse, and I can’t imagine anything cuter! This would be perfect for your next picnic. Just tell everyone it’s just a purse, or they might rifle through it to find more snacks.

Rattan is so pretty, IMHO. And it’s picnic-themed. These would pair perfectly with any of the dresses on this list, especially those with those fun buttons down the front. And I think they would look especially great with the picnic basket bag or anything straw.
