Let’s be honest. The news can be really depressing to read and watch.
Well, South African artist Jaco Haasbroek decided to combat that negativity with a series of optimistic posters featuring fictional headlines he hopes will make somebody smile.

He was driving home one day when he noticed a poster for a lost dog stamped with the word "STOLEN."

"It's quite sad when someone loses a pet," Haasbroek said. "The idea popped into my head that by simply adding 'Our Hearts' at the bottom of the poster, it would completely change its meaning and turn into something positive."

That was the start of The Good News — a collection of punny, optimistic, fictional headlines that Haasbroek puts on telephone poles and on the project’s Instagram page.
