This Artist Reimagines Disney Characters As Real People | 22 Words

Disney does its best to bring stories to life for all of us to enjoy. But this one artist has decided to take things a step further and reimagine all of our favorite Disney characters as real-life people. Finnish artist Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen is a Finnish graphic designer and uses Disney as the basis for inspiration for his work.

I've compiled a list of some of his best work for your scrolling pleasure.

Prepare to be absolutely mind-blown.

Chief Powhatan, father of Pocahontas.

via: Jirka Vince

First up, we have Disney fathers.

Zeus, King of the Olympian Gods, father of Hercules.

via: Jirka Vinse

This one's accurate!

Father of Tarzan.

via: Jirka Vinse

It's weird but Tarzan doesn't even resemble his father?

King Triton, father of Ariel.

via: Jirka Vinse

I would have imagined Ariel's father to look exactly like this!

Cassim, King of Thieves, father of Aladdin.

via: Jirka Vinse

"Aladdin's father actually looks really handsome." We agree.

Cinderella's stepsisters, Anastasia and Drizella.

via: Jirka Vinse

Now onto the Disney villains! Here we have double the trouble!

Lady Tremaine, from Cinderella.

via: Jirka Vinse

It's the arched eyebrows... They scream evil.

Cruella De Vil, from 101 Dalmations.

via: Jirka Vinse

I thought Lady Tremaine looked evil, but I think Cruella wins this one! Yikes!

Prince Hans, Frozen.

via: Jirka Vinse

What soft features for such a bad guy...

Jafar, Aladdin.

via: Jirka Vinse

I would hate to get on the wrong side of this guy, I really would.

Judge Claude Frollo, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

via: Jirka Vinse

There's something about this face that I really find unsettling...

Mother Gothel, Tangled.

via: Jirka Vinse

I have to say, she looks very good for her age.

Ursula, The Little Mermaid.

via: Jirka Vinse

I love how her skin is tinged purple. Very accurate indeed!

Gaston, Beauty and the Beast.

via: Jirka Vinse

I always took it personally when Gaston attacked the Beast and I can't seem to let it go.

Evil Queen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

via: Jirka Vinse

She may be evil, but she carries herself with grace and poise. I respect that. However, those eyebrows, I refuse to respect.

Captain Hook, Peter Pan.

via: Jirka Vinse

This one looks so real!

Maleficent, The Sleeping Beauty.

via: Jirka Vinse

I mean, Angelina Jolie is the real-life Malificent, right? I think she did it better, sorry!

Hades, Hercules.

via: Jirka Vinse

There was always something about Hades that scared me. And this image, just adds to the fear... Let's move on.

Ursula's alter ego, Vanessa, The Little Mermaid.

via: Jirka Vinse

I mean, I think Ursula should just consider becoming Vanessa permanently...

Princess Jasmine, Aladdin.

via: Jirka Vinse

This is an updated rendition of Jasmine. We love it! I'm glad she ditched the sea-blue attire...

Belle, Beauty and the Beast.

via: Jirka Vinse

What a timeless look Belle has!

Moana.

via: Jirka Vinse

This is one of my personal favorites! How accurately has Jirka portrayed Moana? Wow.

Nakoma, Pocahontas.

via: Jirka Vinse

I would kill for cheekbones like those!

Kocoum, Pocahontas.

via: Jirka Vinse

Now moving swiftly on to Disney men!

Thomas, Pocahontas.

via: Jirka Vinse

Is this modelled after Tom Holland? The resemblance is uncanny.

The Prince, Snow White.

via: Jirka Vinse

Can someone ask him to drop his skincare routine please?

Hercules, Hercules.

via: Jirka Vinse

Is he wearing a skin-like vest top? Sounds like something Hercules would do...

Prince Eric, The Little Mermaid.

via: Jirka Vinse

I know this is going to sound weird, but Prince Eric is very attractive... even though he's animated.

Prince Phillip, The Sleeping Beauty.

via: Jirka Vinse

He and Princess Aurora actually make for a very good-looking couple.

John Smith, Pocahontas.

via: Jirka Vinse

Wow, those blonde locks are actually gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

Aladdin, Aladdin.

via: Jirka Vinse

What a jawline on this man!

Prince Adam (The Beast), Beauty and the Beast.

via: Jirka Vinse

He needs a little haircut, but we can work with it.

Prince Charming, Cinderella.

via: Jirka Vinse

He really lives up to his name, doesn't he?

Tarzan, Tarzan.

via: Jirka Vinse

If you thought Aladdin had a good jawline, check out Tarzan!

Captain Li Shang, Mulan.

via: Jirka Vinse

The Chinese army captain resembles the animation perfectly.

Captain Phoebus, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

via: Jirka Vinse

How does Jirka manage to get the hair so accurate? He's very talented.

Eugene Fitzherbert (Flynn Rider), Frozen.

via: Jirka Vinse

"He looks exactly alike!" We agree!

Prince Naveen, The Princess and the Frog.

via: Jirka Vinse

The eldest Prince of Maldonia prides himself on being handsome and charming and this picture boasts exactly that.

Kristoff, Frozen.

via: Jirka Vinse

The better Prince option.

Peter Pan, Peter Pan.

via: Jirka Vinse

This one is literally amazing! If you made it down to the bottom, then I bet you're feeling pretty inspired, right? Because we are! Jirka really deserved an award for his amazing drawings!
