This Couple's Bathing Suit Photo Went Viral For the Greatest Reason | 22 Words

This is Jasmine "Jazzy" Owens.

She's a wife, mother, and an aspiring model, who promotes self-love and body positivity on Instagram. "In my life I have always battled myself. Judging myself on what I look like and how I act, " she captioned this photo." Never letting myself get out of my comfort zone because I didn't want to be criticized anymore then I had already been. Now that I am feeling more confident in my body I can see that I have been my own worst enemy in life. I have been so hard on myself I have held myself back from so many opportunities and experiences I could have enjoyed this far. Sometimes the hardest thing to compete with is ourself! We have to stop putting ourselves down and holding ourselves back! There is a beautiful world that we should be enjoying instead of hiding from it. Stop competing with yourself!"

And she also kills it in the gym.

Accompanying this photo she wrote: "To all the haters out there that have been talking about me as if I'm just fat, unhealthy, and not doing nothing about it! Even though I owe you NO type of explanation! I wanted to share with y'all proof that I do go to they gym and I am very healthy!!!  Now to the men and women that are body positive along side of me, just because we love our bodies doesn't mean we can't take care of our bodies! Loving yourself does not mean that you just let yourself go. When you love yourself truly you want to take care of your body. Good eating habits and exercise are key to staying healthy and hey if that results in weight loss that's ok and if it doesn't that's ok too. It's not about being skinny or being fat it's about being healthy."

She's clearly living her best life, but results don't come easy.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you work, they don't come at all. But you stick with it. In doing so, Jazzy has become a source of inspiration for many.

It's hard to stay positive ALL the time when facing change and hard work.

Yet Jazzy puts on about as brave a face as we've ever seen.

She's got many things going for her, including an ADONIS of a husband.

You'll see all of him in a second, but know that's where her troubles lied in this one instance.

All together now:

That attitude is what made this photo of her and her husband of six years, Keenan, go insanely viral.

It was this accompanying caption that sealed the deal: "Over the years this man has loved every curve, every roll, and every stretch mark on my body. I never understood why!  How could he love something that isn't "perfect"? How could a man who was "born fit" love someone like me! I don't have a flat stomach, I jiggle when I walk, hell if I run up the stairs to fast my body claps (lmao)!! But now I see I do have the "perfect" body!! Every roll, every curve and every stretch mark is put on me just perfect to make both of us happy!!! I love my body and I finally see why he does too!!"

Thousands of people who are probably high-fiving their own perfectly imperfect bodies left comments basically along the lines of, "Yes, girl!"

And to say that people found her inspiring would be an understatement...

"I feel like I just read a page out of the book of my life!" another one commented.

"Thank you for being a positive role model for women everywhere. Our society needs more people like you," another person wrote. While I didn't scour all the comments—there are literally thousands—I didn't come across a single internet troll out to body shame. Now that's really saying something.

And Jazzy was the one saying something the next morning after her viral photo.

If you don't take anything else away from this, just remember: "We don't have to be what the media wants us to be. We're all beautiful." Keep doing you, girl! See exactly HOW she's kept up her awesomeness in the next slides.

The terrible criticism has only strengthened her resolve in sharing her message.

How's that for tenacity?

She's also got some more important things in her life.

I'd say this wonderful son outweighs the hate from some trolls.

She's literally WEARING body positivity all over herself.

That's commitment!

Her marriage has never ben stronger.

Jazzy's never been happier. So...take that, cowardly Internet critics!

She's got her own thing going.

All signs point to success there, so she's not going to look back at this. But let it serve as inspiration for others who are going through this sort of unfounded shame.
