This Is Why Some People Leave Bags Full of Water Above Their Doors | 22 Words

See this pesky little bugger? It's a fly, and most of the time they're annoying.

And every summer those pesky critters make their way into and around your house, and it’s never been easy to keep them away, until now…

You could use a flyswatter, but that can get rather tedious.

Instead, you could use things you probably already have at home without even having to go to the store.

All you have to do is fill a plastic sandwich baggie with water and a few other household items and you’re on your way to a fly-free home.

First, you’re going to pour two-and-a-half cups of water into a mixing bowl.

Then add a generous handful of salt and between two and three squirts of lime juice. Now, you’re going to want to mix those ingredients together well.

Once you’re finished with that, pour the solution into a plastic sandwich bag.

The last step is to add some pennies to the bag, and you know you have some loose change hanging around (go check the couch).

The contents inside of each bag have natural bug repellent properties that will keep those flying pests away from your home for good.

Why else does it work? Because this keeps flies away by confusing them visually with the refracting light as it moves through the bag.

This method of keeping flies out is completely sustainable, as all it takes is a small portion of ingredients.

Finally, take your bag filled with the solution and pennies and hang it above your front door or entrance to your home.

Say goodbye to the flies and enjoy your summer in peace!

Now isn't that better than getting your hands stuck in those gross fly strips that seem to stick to themselves .03 seconds after you hang them up?
