Tim Allen is under fire for some comments a recent co-star made about him.

In Hollywood, your reputation precedes you, and that’s definitely the case for Tim Allen.

Despite playing beloved characters on screen, the actor has had his fair share of controversies over the years—even before he made it to the entertainment industry.

Before he was an actor, a 23-year-old Tim was arrested for drug trafficking after one pound of cocaine was found in his luggage at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport in Michigan.

Allen pled guilty to the charges and was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.

Unfortunately, that trouble followed him even after his success in Toy Story.

Allen once revealed that he began drinking at the age of 10, developing an addiction that only increased following his father’s death in a car accident when he was young.

In 1998, during his Home Improvement run, Tim was arrested for driving under the influence.

The actor soon entered rehab for alcohol addiction and has been sober since.

Another incident that got fans to rally against Allen was when he declared his affinity for Donald Trump.

During an episode of the WTF with Marc Maron podcast in 2021, Tim said, “Once I realized the last president pissed people off, I kinda liked that,” referring to Trump.

When asked about his political affiliation, Allen told the podcast, “Once I started making money, I had this silent partner that just took almost half of my money and never gave me anything for it.”

“That’s taxes,” he explained. “I’ve never liked taxes.”

Just last month, fans found yet another reason to be mad at the actor: his alleged views about dogs.

The Toy Story star supposedly said the pets “aren’t capable of love,” according to an account on Twitter that questioned his views.

“Per Tim Allen, animals aren’t capable of love…so, what does it mean when a dog licks you?” The user wrote, sending the internet into a frenzy.

They continued, “Or for example, a man goes hiking with his dog, he has an accident and dies. When the rescuers finally found him a month later, the dog was still there by his owner’s side…”

Whether Allen made the comment or not remains to be verified, but the public was mad at Tim over the statement, regardless.

Now, there’s yet another reason the actor is in the headlines for something negative—and this time, it’s coming directly from a co-star.

Casey Wilson recently accused the actor of being difficult to work with on their 2022 Disney+ series The Santa Clauses.

This film is the latest installment of The Santa Clause franchise, which started in 1994 with Allen playing divorced-dad-turned-Father Christmas Scott Calvin.

“Tim Allen was such a b***h,” Wilson said of the veteran actor on a recent episode of her Bitch Sesh podcast.

She went on to say that working with him was the “Worst, truly single worst experience I’ve ever had with a co star ever.”

The Happy Endings alum recalled filming one scene in which her character sees Santa (played by Allen) enter her home and thinks he’s a burglar.

“I’m supposed to throw things at him,” Wilson explained. “He’s coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa. And I am woken up thinking there’s an intruder—basically like a home invasion scene.”

For whatever reason, she said Allen wasn’t happy with her performance, so he went over a producer standing just a few feet away from her.

“I basically hear him—he goes, ‘You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines,'” Wilson said.

“The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, ‘Tim would ask that you stopped stepping on his lines,’” she continued.

Casey went on to say, “When he was done, he was so f***ing rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything.

“It was it was so uncomfortable,” she said of their time working together.

Allen has yet to respond to Wilson’s comments about him.
