And that is a reason alone!

But Hardy had a very tough start to life...

The star suffered from alcoholism and drug addiction during his teen and early adult years.

Despite his demons...

Hardy set his sights on a career on-screen, pursuing acting at the Richmond Drama School followed by the prestigious Drama Centre London.

It wasn't easy.

In a December 2002 interview with IGN, the actor stated, "When other schools would be doing, sort of, 30 hours, we were doing 60. And we'd be doing stuff that would prepare you in a very different way."

But his hard work paid off...

And he stepped into the spotlight for his role in Band Of Brothers  back in 2001.

He's built himself a very successful career on our screens.

Hardy is best known for his roles in movies and series such as Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Legend (2015), and Peaky Blinders (2014-2019).

But his latest movie hasn't gone down well with fans...

With some going as far as saying it was "one of the worst movies" they've ever seen!

Not only were fan reviews bad, but Rotten Tomatoes gave Capone a twenty-five percent audience rating.

One half-star review reads: "I couldn't stand it, incredibly boring and pointless. I was hoping for something more like The Irishman, something showing the earlier years and Capone looking back at his highs and lows, but this was just boring.

"The half a star is for casting the story well but the film could have been so much more."

Another review reads: "Capone is just bad. Not even Tom Hardy can save this movie for how bad it is."

While another wrote: "Very boring and not much to it. Tom Hardy does good as possible in the role."

It seems that Tom Hardy's portrayal of Capone is the only positive about the movie, scraping the barrel at an overall rating of 4.7 on IMBD.

So if you can put the plot and overall storyline aside for Hardy, then you might want to give it a watch.
