“I don’t mean to be unkind to kids. And I’m not. I just see a lot of signs of stress. Some obesity. Long, unkempt hair, clothing that doesn’t fit. Just disheveled. It seems the kids are paying a price for whatever is going on between the parents. And after all these years, no money for basics? Clothing, haircuts, housing? This is shameful,” one fan wrote.

Another agreed: “Her mother is so wealthy. The reality of such wealth is difficult to really conceive for ordinary people because it differs so much from what they have ever experienced. The true inequality of wealth is difficult for the average person to imagine.”

Now, there’s nothing quite as rewarding as parenthood.

The love between you and your child is something unlike any other feeling on earth… It’s a pretty magical thing.

However, parenting isn’t easy…

Whoever said it is, is lying.

Although you try and do the best for your child…

Everyone has an opinion on what you’re doing wrong.

There are many things that make parenthood irritating…

  via Shutterstock

But there’s one thing pretty much every parent out there can relate to, which is feeling like you’re not giving your kids the best.

And there are a whole host of controversial decisions to be made around parenting.

It’s safe to say, people have some pretty strong opinions…

Like, for example, how to split duties between parents…

With single parenting being even tougher!

And modern parents have even more stresses to go through.

Technology has made the already hard job of parenting even trickier — especially as kids grow older.

There’s another big issue for parents, these days.

  via Shutterstock

The highly topical issue of helicopter parenting.

advertisement

It can be tricky to toe the line between responsible and overprotective.

  via Shutterstock

But it’s important to foster independence and trust in your kids, to risk a serious rebellion down the line.

advertisement

It often all comes down to communication.

  via Shutterstock

And making sure your kids feel they can come to you with their problems will always make things easier.

Respect is another pertinent issue when it comes to parenting.

  via Shutterstock

As a lack of respect is really what most fights between parents and kids come down to.

Patience is also key.

As any parent will tell you, you need the patience of a saint on some days.

The feeling of inadequacy can also bring parents down.

  via Shutterstock

But if you’re trying your best, rest assured — you’re being a top-level parent!

advertisement

Trying to instill discipline is key.

  via Shutterstock

But, let’s be honest — it’s not always possible! Sometimes kids just aren’t in the mood to be obedient.

advertisement

There’s something else that can make parenting seem scary.

  via Shutterstock

That feeling that there just isn’t enough time!

advertisement

Not only do days rush past when you’re super busy taking care of a little one…

  via Shutterstock

But you want to treasure the precious, fleeting moments of your child’s early days (and years).

Dealing with fear is another big issue of parenting.

  via Shutterstock

With a world out there that feels vast and frightening, it can be tempting to wrap you child up in cotton wool.

advertisement

But you need to allow your child to experience life for themselves!

  via Shutterstock

So long as they always know they can rely on you to help them out in times of need!

advertisement

A lot of good parenting actually relies on relinquishing of control.

  via Shutterstock

Which is, as any parent knows, easier said than done.

But this week, a controversial parenting story has hit the headlines.

As many are feeling conflicted about Tori Spelling’s family …

Tori Spelling, the famous “Beverly Hills, 90210” star, and her five children have found themselves living in an RV after their home was infested with black mold.

To escape the hazardous conditions, they moved into a mobile home located in a campground in Ventura County, California, following a short stay in a nearby motel.

In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, the family can be seen outside their RV, sitting in lawn chairs, enjoying the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

Equipped for the night, they had a cooler, stove, pop-up table, and a large rug to keep the dust away.

Despite the challenging situation, the kids appeared to be in good spirits, exploring their beachside setup.

At one point, Tori Spelling joined her children for a walk down to the beach along a rocky path.

Prior to their camper, the family stayed in a modest $100-a-night motel in the Los Angeles area before temporarily moving in with a friend.

Tori’s estranged husband, Dean McDermott, was noticeably absent from the camping trip. He announced their divorce after 17 years of marriage in June.

The housing crisis arose after Tori Spelling had to move her family out of their rental home due to an “extreme” mold infestation, which made them all sick.

She had been searching for a new place for her family, but a leaked text exchange with a realtor revealed a lack of empathy and kindness from the person, further adding to their difficulties.

While it’s uncertain when they will be able to return to their home, Tori Spelling first spoke out about the mold issue in May, expressing that she and her children were seriously affected by the infestation.

“Our troubles are next-level with our MOLD problem and the house that’s been slowly killing us for 3 years,” she wrote at the time.

What do you think of the situation?
