Tragedy has rocked the UK skydiving community after Jade Damarell, 32, fell to her death from 10,000 feet in what’s now suspected to be a deliberate act.

She was also training for her pilot’s license and had already done over 80 jumps this year alone.

It’s understood Jade had split from her boyfriend, fellow skydiver Ben Goodfellow, just hours before the fatal fall.
“The night before Jade died, Ben ended things,” said a friend. “The next morning, he went to work—and Jade went skydiving.”
The couple had been living together in shared lodgings near the Shotton Colliery airfield since Christmas.
Their bond had seemed tight. “They were inseparable,” said a fellow skydiver. “They didn’t talk to many others—just each other.”
But insiders reveal cracks had started to show. Jade reportedly ended things multiple times before Ben finally called it off.
Goodfellow, 26, is a Nissan technician and lead singer of indie band Post Rome, whose gigs have since been cancelled.
