This comes as he wants to ensure that students aren’t faced with financial burdens right before they’re due to walk proudly across the commencement stage with their diplomas in hand.

Scott distributed $1 million between one hundred students at HBCU who are on track to graduate in the class of 2022, as per TMZ.

Each of the students, out of the hundred that has been selected, has sacrificed a lot to be able to study for their degree in order to prepare for their futures.

Nisha Encarnocian, a Pharmacy major, for example, studying at Florida A&M University, has paid her own way through college, while at the same time, supporting both her mom and her daughter, as per the news outlet.

A computer science major from Fisk University, Chison Okwor, wants to help transform developing countries in Africa and has been rewarded with $10,000 to further help his studies.

And as TMZ reports, Jordan Massey, a broadcast journalism major, has found himself in a lot of debt while studying for his bright future. Thanks to Scott’s fund, he will most certainly find it much easier as he moves through to the end of his degree.

Students from Universities such as Alabama A&M University, Central State University, Jackson State University, Morehouse College, Texas Southern University, Grambling State University, and others, have been granted the fund.
