And now, Treat Williams.
The star of Everwood and Hair, has died after being involved in a motorcycle accident.
He was 71 years old.
The fire chief for Dorset, Vermont, confirmed to PEOPLE the crash happened on Monday around 5 p.m. on Route 30 by Long Trail Auto near Dorset, Vermont.
Williams first made inroads into Hollywood back in 1975.
But things really took off when he was cast in the movie remake of the Broadway musical Hair in 1979.
In 2002, he began portraying the leading role of Dr. Andrew “Andy” Brown in Everwood, even earning s SAD Award nomination for the role.
He was also well known for Hallmark projects like The Christmas House, Beyond the Blackboard, Safe Harbor and Chasing a Dream.
Plus holiday classics like Netflix’s Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square and The Noel Diary.
Williams also appeared in cult movies like Steven Spielberg’s 1941 and Heart of Dixie.
Williams’ final Instagram post then surfaced.
It was posted just hours before his death, and showed how happy he was with his life.
“There is no better smell than new mown hay,” he wrote, sharing an image of his tractor and farm.
One user wrote, “5 hours ago you were sharing your beautiful home with us & now we have lost you. Sending love to your loved ones. Godspeed.”
And now, Treat’s daughter Elle has shared a message with fans.
And it’s breaking the internet’s hearts.
“This is a pain I have never felt. I am absolutely shattered,” she wrote in an Instagram story.
“Thank you to everyone who has sent messages and kept our family in your hearts during this terrible heartbreak.”
