Trevor Noah has announced that he will be leaving The Daily Show on Comedy Central.

On Thursday the thirty-eight-year-old made the announcement which means his 7-year run on the show will be coming to an end.

Comedy Central praised Noah and said: “We are grateful to Trevor for our amazing partnership over the past seven years.
“As we look ahead, we’re excited for the next chapter in the 25+ year history of ‘The Daily Show.'”
According to TMZ, a Comedy Central source said that Noah and the Comedy Central team are working together on “a timeline for his departure.”
