Harlan Hill, one of Donald Trump's campaign advisors, made a sacred promise in the event of Joe Biden winning the election...
But, now that Joe Biden has actually won...
He's refusing to do it. Of course.
Here's the full story...
Now, President Biden has thrown himself into his new role with gusto.
Just one week after his move to the White House, the newly-elected president has been busy dismantling a whole array of controversial Trump-era regulations.
Mere hours after his inauguration ceremony, Biden fulfilled one of his top campaign promises by pledging to put the U.S. back in the Paris Agreement on climate change - an international pact aimed at curbing emissions that cause global warming.
Trump famously withdrew from the agreement in 2017, citing costs to American taxpayers.
And as for the country's ongoing racial division?
Well, Biden has already got to work on putting the pieces back together.
He first signed an executive order to promote racial equity.
Biden ordered his government to conduct equity assessments of its agencies and reallocate resources to "advance equity for all, including people of color and others who have been historically underserved, marginalized and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality."
He then reversed Trump's infamous ban on U.S. entry from majority-Muslim countries.
Biden's proclamation reversed Trump's policy that barred entry to the U.S. for refugees and residents from 7 predominantly Muslim countries and orders plans within forty-five days for resuming visa processing.
However, despite Biden's hard work, there are many people who are still refusing to accept the change in power.
Various Trump supporters continue to claim that the election was rigged and that Biden will never be our country's president (despite the fact he literally moved into the White House last week).
Some are even confident that Trump will run for president again in 2024.
Though his impeachment trial might put a swift halt to that idea.
Anyway, their loyalty is admirable...
But not all of them are able to stick to their words.
As stated earlier, Harlan Hill has made a promise that he needs to honor.
The political consultant and commentator, who has made many appearances on Fox News throughout the last few years, has remained firm in his faith in the former president.
Well, kind of.
Before the election, Hill had vowed to do something quite drastic in the event of Joe Biden winning... But, now that he has won, he has fallen woefully awfully quiet.
People are growing impatient...
He needs to eat the shoe. He gave his word. His excuse about unfair elections was shot down dozens of times in cour… https://t.co/WWVUYyJxqf— Jesse Hawken (@Jesse Hawken)1611881001.0

The bold promise was made to a reporter for The Atlantic at Steve Bannon's election-night party.
Hill said he was "100 percent" certain of Trump's victory and when asked what he would do if Trump lost, he responded:
"I'll eat my shoe. We'll do it in a livestream."
Get that shoe eaten, Harlan!
He is yet to address the matter, instead opting to push more Trump propaganda. "Democratic mob bosses have stolen an election and undermined the democratic process," he tweeted on December 2nd, while also tweeting, "Trump was robbed," on December 15th.
If he does decide to honor his word and eat his shoe, updates will be posted... I promise.
