Illuminate with Globe String Lights

  via Amazon

Enjoying evenings outdoors is one of my favorite pastimes, and I love how great these globe string lights look around my patio. These glass globes are a true classic that can blend in with any patio décor style. Best of all, the lights are dimmable and weatherproof too.

Get Sensor Lights for Safety

  via Amazon

Keeping my patio clean is important to me. I’ve invested in outdoor supplies to organize and clean up, but there’s one foe I’ve never been able to beat: raccoons. I recently installed these sensor lights for added security, and they do more than just keep my family safe. They’ve scared away the raccoons that used to come around and wreak havoc with my trash cans.

Accent a Path with Solar Torches

  via Amazon

Cutting down on the environmental and financial impact of my patio décor is important to me. I don’t want to hurt the Earth or my wallet. Part of that means choosing lighting that doesn’t use much energy. These gorgeous torch lights run on solar power, so they don’t impact my utility bill. They look amazing along my garden path!

Put Your Solar Lights on Deck

  via Amazon

I saw these solar deck lights while browsing online and I absolutely had to buy them! They mount flush along deck rails and steps so you never have to worry about tripping in the dark again. Great lighting is one of the most important outdoor supplies you can get. It adds ambience, helps you see in the dark, and boosts backyard security.

Light Up the Fire Pit

  via Amazon

I grew up in the country and loved having bonfires on crisp nights. I live in a suburban neighborhood now, but I knew I couldn’t give up my nighttime fires. That’s why I had to have this beautiful fire pit. There were a lot of choices, but I picked this model because it doubles as an icy trough for cold drinks!

Throw Down an Outdoor Blanket

  via Amazon

Your patio décor isn’t complete until you have a thick, tough blanket to toss out when needed. This one is made from durable fabric designed for outdoor use. It’s the one thing I grab when I want to lay down on the grass and catch some rays. It’s also perfect for get-togethers where kids need their own lounging area.

Throw On Some Warmth

  via Amazon

I often start my day with a cup of coffee on the patio. If it’s chilly, I wrap up in a cozy blanket so I don’t have to miss my morning me time. Woven of 100% cotton, this striking throw is my cold-weather blanket of choice for the patio. It looks great with everything and it’s easy to wash. Of course, it’s amazingly warm too.

Have Mini Fire Pit Fun

  via Amazon

No joke, this is a tabletop fireplace that can run on rubbing alcohol. I need it. You need it. With this mini fireplace, you can roast smores on hot summer days when you don’t want to build a big fire. Thanks to its small size, you can bring it indoors when the weather is too cold to be outside.

Stay Safe with Fire Tongs

  via Amazon

It’s true that I love a great fire, but I love staying safe too. Meaning, I don’t want to be the lady at the party with the sad story about how I burned down my backyard! If you have a backyard fireplace or fire pit, you need outdoor supplies designed for fire safety. Pick up these fire tongs for your pit. No burns = more fire pit fun.

Lava Rock Your Fire Pit

  via Amazon

Using a propane fire pit saves me the time and effort it takes to build a traditional fire on days when I don’t want to fuss with it (in other words, every day). It’s also a great décor piece for my backyard hideaway. These lava rocks make my propane fire pit look like it belongs on a fancy restaurant patio. I love how affordable this upgrade was!

Keep the Patio Heater Blazing

  via Amazon

A couple years ago, I bought some of those tall outdoor propane heaters like restaurants use. I thought they would be perfect for my patio, but they looked clunky and out of place. This infrared patio heater was a great alternative. It’s small enough for my patio but still packs serious heating power. No more chilly fall nights in my backyard!

Why Not Mount a Heater?

  via Amazon

Another great option for heating a patio is this mounting heater. I hung it on an exterior wall so I could enjoy snow days without putting on three layers of clothes. (I don’t want to wash all those clothes. Do you?) If you close your eyes, it’s a bit like being in a warm desert breeze on even the dreariest days.

Enjoy a Zero Gravity Experience

  via Amazon

My backyard has its fair share of furniture that adds to my overall patio décor scheme. I love all that pretty stuff, but I might love relaxing even more. I have no shame in throwing aside stunning aesthetics for some incredibe relaxation. My mom gave me a zero gravity chair a few years ago, and now I know why she loves hers. This chair is the definition of comfort — every backyard needs one.

Blow Up an Ottoman

  via Amazon

I’ve never had enough storage space in my backyard. Yard tools compete with patio furniture and wind chimes for room in my garage. Sure, I’ve always wanted an outdoor ottoman, but where am I going to put it during the winter? I’d given up until I found this inflatable ottoman. Easy to blow up and easy to store! It’s totally worth it.

Accent with Outdoor Pillows

  via Amazon

Not long ago, I wanted to give my patio hideaway a facelift without spending a ton of money. Upgrading my patio furniture was a top priority because, sorry, all that classy outdoor seating makes my butt hurt. These outdoor pillows were some of the most affordable patio décor I found and they added that cushioning I so badly needed.

Cover Up with an Outdoor Rug

  via Amazon

Sometimes guests find the most embarrassing things, like the year my Labor Day party was interrupted by my brother peeling away the porch rug to reveal a disgusting carpet of mold. I swore it would never happen again. Made from weather-resistant plastic straw, this outdoor rug is the one piece I needed to bring everything else on my patio together. And, yes, it’s easy to clean and store — so I don’t have to worry about mold again.

Set a Fly Trap

  via Amazon

Nothing sends me inside faster than a bunch of bugs. From meat bees in the afternoon to mosquitos at night, I despise them all. I’ve tried a lot of outdoor supplies aimed at controlling bugs, but most of them haven’t worked. Thankfully, this fly trap works 24 hours a day to keep my patio pleasantly bug free. I’m always amazed by how many bugs end up in this little trap.

Cozy Up in a Loveseat

  via Amazon

Look, I don’t know why they call this amazing two-seat couch that’s perfect for a friendly conversation a loveseat. I just know that whether I sit there with my significant other or someone I barely know, it’s comfy and adds a special touch to my patio décor. (Unlike that other seating, it doesn’t make my butt hurt either!)

Light Up Under an Umbrella

  via Amazon

The first time I had a nighttime party on my patio, I noticed a huge problem. The big umbrella that protected my table from sun during the day also kept it from getting any light at night. I guess that would be cool for a vampire party, but I only throw those once a year. Enter this umbrella light, which keeps the party bright no matter how late it gets.

Add a Combo Table & Cooler

  via Amazon

A table and a cooler are both outdoor supplies I consider essential. You can’t entertain without cold drinks, and you can’t enjoy cold drinks without a table to set them on. But I always have a dilemma, too: where am I supposed to fit all that stuff on my patio? This cool two-in-one table and cooler is the answer.

Grab a Mission-Style Lantern

  via Amazon

I have a lot of soft light on my patio that creates a warm, welcoming glow. To accent my smaller globe lights, I added these beautiful hanging lanterns. With mission styling and a candle-like flicker, I knew I had to have them. They’re just so…romantic.

Plant a Freestanding Lamp

  via Amazon

Have I mentioned that I love outdoor supplies that do more than one job? This freestanding solar lamp is one of my favorites. It’s waterproof, adds gorgeous light to my space and has a shelf for a potted plant. This is definitely one of my favorite patio hideaway finds.
