When it comes to choosing the ideal pet, a dog is always the first that comes to mind.
The dog, or otherwise known as man's best friend, is the ultimate faithful companion, so when it comes to picking out the perfect pooch to take home, things can be quite difficult.
But one little boy found his absolute perfect match...
Two-year-old, Bentley Boyers, captured the internet's heart this week.

Because both Bentley as his new pup have a cleft lip.

Which was the case for Bentley.

What exactly happens to these strays?

But there is a devastating reality...

There's a huge effort to steer people towards adopting rather than buying pooches from breeders.

And the latest story of adoption is enough to convince anyone.
"It’s so hard to put into words how meaningful this adoption is to all of us so we are going to let the pictures speak for themselves."
