Allegations now have been leveled against a clergyman, claiming that he attempted to force a McDonald’s worker’s head into a fryer.
Dwayne Waden’s other half was learning to take on the role of manager at a North Carolina eatery and ended up phoning her spouse when it seemed like the personnel were ‘being discourteous’ to her.
On December 28, Waden, 57, went to a fast food joint and allegedly seized one of the worker’s neck with his hands, per Business Insider.
Witnesses declared that Waden – a pastor – apparently attempted to direct the victim’s head towards a deep fryer.
It has been reported that the 57-year-old man punched an employee in the face multiple times and would not stop until other employees intervened, according to police sources.
It is stated that the person impacted by the episode endured a big bruise on their forehead and right eye, along with abrasions on their neck.
On the day of the incident, family members brought them to the hospital for a health assessment.
Upon reviewing the surveillance video, police apprehended Waden for assault and battery charges.
The clergyman was brought to the police station and released on bail for a sum of $1,000.
According to an arrest report, Waden is scheduled to appear in court on January 22.
The report went on to say that officers arrived on the scene in response to a reported Assault and, following an investigation, arrested the accused on the basis of probable cause without any issues.
It was verified by CBS News that Waden’s partner is no longer employed by McDonald’s, the popular fast food outlet.
In a statement, a spokesperson for McDonald’s declared that the safety and security of their customers and employees is of the utmost importance.
The spokesperson expressed shock and dismay at the violent incident which occurred in the restaurant last week.
