After weeks of electoral fraud accusations from President Trump, the U.S Electoral College has today come forward with its official verdict on the explosive 2020 presidential election.

Here's the full story...

Now, this year's presidential election was perhaps the most anticipated in decades.

And, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.

However, despite the polls across the country closing on Tuesday, November 3rd...

It took days for a result to be announced. As the days trickled by, each state gradually announced their winning candidate and, throughout those tense couple of days, the numbers remained painfully close between President Trump and former vice president, Joe Biden.

Trump was clearly feeling the heat, though...

And, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, states where Joe Biden was projected to win.

He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...

And then went on to threaten legal action against any state wherein Biden had won.

But, regardless of his many threats, the results were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.

The Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College.

Shortly after his victory, Biden Tweeted this:

"America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans - whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me."

However, there was someone who wasn't in the mood for celebrating...

And that was President Trump, of course.

Now, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous.

Though the president is a historically sore loser - he's very rarely had to admit defeat ever in his life - and has long made wild accusations against the Biden campaign team, people simply cannot believe his ongoing refusal to accept what has happened.

His first response to Biden's win was to release a lengthy and damning statement...

In which he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. As per Sky News, the statement read: “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. “The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. “In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process.  Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

And the frenzied Twitter rants were quick to follow.

In his rage, Trump took to the social media platform to dispute the result further, insisting that he was the one who won.

He tried to take some small victory from the situation...

And proudly Tweeted that he received a record-breaking number of votes.

However, more damning accusations were quick to follow...

Trump seemed set on the idea that Biden and his team rigged the entire election to play out in their favor, and made strong hints that something happened in the counting rooms that had "never happened before."

Throughout the past month, Trump has remained confident in his election victory, despite not actually winning.

His many claims of electoral fraud have remained unproven, too.

While Trump has consistently slammed the Biden campaign of "fraudulent votes," he has yet to provide any actual evidence.

And, when the Trump campaign set up an "Electoral Fraud Hotline"...

Well, it didn't take long for people to flood the line with prank calls.

Since Biden's election win...

The internet has been rife with people laughing at the childishness of Trump's behavior and, of course, many dubbed him as a "sore loser."

But now, there has been an all-important update that could throw a spanner in Trump's fraud theory.

Yesterday, the U.S Electoral College confirmed Joe Biden as the official winner of the 2020 presidential elections.

All fifty states and Washington D.C. have certified their election results, which then allows the 538 electors in the electoral college to meet and cast their ballots, as per the Constitution.

They confirmed that Joe Biden received more than the 270 electoral colleges needed to take over the White House.

The president-elect has 203 college votes, and Hawaii's electors are due to bring him up to the forecast 306 votes. They added that California was the state to push him over the edge with its fifty-five electors.

Congratulations, Joe Biden!
