Vanessa Hudgens is officially a married woman!

Fans have been following the High School Musical alum for more than a decade now, staying invested in her love life along the way.

The actress first rose to fame with her role as Gabriella in the Disney channel franchise, which also introduced her to Zac Efron. The two of them took their on-screen romance into real life and dated from 2005 to 2010.

Hudgens revealed on The Hollywood Reporter podcast Awards Chatter in 2018 that the two of them started dating at the “very beginning” of the franchise, feeling the chemistry immediately in the audition room.

“We created a bond right from the start,” she said on the podcast. “We were like, ‘We’re doing this, it’s us or nothing.'”

In the same interview, Hudgens said that her relationship with Efron comforted her as they both rose to fame.

“By being in a relationship, I feel like it kind of kept me stabilized and grounded, and I had someone to lean on who was going through it as well,” she said at the time.

The couple continued to work together until they finished the High School Musical franchise, which ended in 2008. Two years later, they announced their split, with a source telling PEOPLE, “They are 100 percent still good friends.”

After dating Efron, Hudgens briefly dated Josh Hutcherson in 2011. They both starred in the adventure film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and when promoting the film, they indirectly announced their breakup.

Their brief relationship was confirmed in an awkward 2012 interview with Today Australia when the interviewer asked how long the couple had been going out.
The actors both looked surprised look before he quickly said, “We’re not — we were at one point, that was a while ago … we’re really good friends now.”

Hudgens then moved onto Austin Butler, with whom she was first spotted with in September 2011. A few months later, they made their official red carpet debut at the premiere of her movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

The pair didn’t make their relationship Instagram official until 2014, when the actress posted a heartfelt tribute to her then-boyfriend for his birthday.
“Happy birthday to the man with the kindest heart, beautiful soul, crazy talent and best looks I’ve ever seen,” Hudgens wrote in the caption.

The couple were very supportive of one another throughout their relationship, but in January 2020, after nearly a decade together, they called it quits.
A source shared with PEOPLE at the time that, “Busy work schedules and travel definitely put a strain on the relationship. They were a wonderful couple and it’s really sad that it didn’t work out.”

Shortly after her breakup with Butler went public, Hudgens was spotted having dinner with Washington Wizards player Kyle Kuzma. A few days later, a source told PEOPLE, “They’re seeing each other, but taking things slow and just having fun at this stage.”

It’s not clear when things ended for Hudgens and Kuzma, but it seems like their time together wasn’t anything too serious.

Later that year, Vanessa sparked dating rumors with Cole Tucker. The actress and the baseball player were first spotted together at a restaurant in Los Angeles in November 2020.

Hudgens revealed to Entertainment Tonight in 2021 that the couple first met in a Zoom meditation group. That same year, she also shared on The Drew Barrymore Show that she was the one who made the first move.

“I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move,” Vanessa said.

In February 2021, the couple finally made things Instagram official. Hudgens shared their union by posting a sweet picture of them kissing along with the caption, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us.”

Tucker spoke about the actress publicly that same month, saying, “I got a girlfriend and she’s cool. She’s awesome, I love her.”

In February 2023, PEOPLE revealed that Hudgens and Tucker had gotten engaged the previous year. The pair then posted their own announcement on Instagram, writing, “YES. We couldn’t be happier.”

A month later, Hudgens revealed during an interview with PEOPLE that she was surprised by the proposal, which happened while they were in Paris.

“We had definitely talked about it, but I did not expect it to happen the way that it happened and the moment that it happened,” she said. “It definitely caught me off guard and I was bawling my eyes out.”

In October 2023, Hudgens celebrated her bachelorette party in Aspen, Colorado. In attendance at the party were some of her famous friends, including actresses Alexandra Shipp and Sarah Hyland.

During the fun weekend, the group shared multiple pictures from the weekend festivities on Instagram, which featured champagne and a ton of white outfit changes for the bride-to-be.

Now, two months later, Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker have tied the knot.

The Princess Switch actress and the professional baseball player said “I do” on Saturday, Dec. 2 in Tulum, Mexico. Sources confirmed the nuptials to PEOPLE following pictures from their ceremony going public.

Over the weekend, a photo surfaced on X–the social media platform formerly known as Twitter–featuring Hudgens posing on the beach in a casual white dress.

To further fuel speculation that the actress was, in fact, getting married, her former High School Musical costar Monique Coleman posted a video on her Instagram Story showing footage from Tulum.

Hudgens and Tucker have yet to speak publicly about their wedding, but once they finally share pictures from the ceremony, it’s sure to be a beautiful sight.
Congrats to the happy couple!
