Victoria Beckham isn’t too happy about having to do chores that her fellow celebs might not have to.
David and Victoria Beckham have been one of the most beloved celebrity couples since they first started dating in 1997.
Now, nearly 30 years later, their fans still can’t get enough of the couple once deemed “Posh & Becks.”
The pair have never been shy about sharing their personal life on social media, always letting us get glimpses at their daily tasks with their entire family.
While they’ve always had a big audience tuned in, that circle only grew following the recent release of the Beckham documentary.
The Netflix docuseries follows David Beckham’s meteoric rise from humble beginnings to global football stardom.
While a lot of the series is about the footballer’s stellar career, a lot of it also focuses on his relationship with his wife.
While it seems like it was love at first sight, the couple still went through their fair share of struggles in the early years.
A cheating scandal tainted their marriage in 2003, when David Beckham was accused of having an affair with his assistant, Rebecca Loos.
While the couple didn’t confirm whether or not those rumors had any truth behind them, they did address the scandal and how they moved past it in the docuseries.
“I think we both felt at the time that we were not losing each other, but growing. I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty,” the athlete said about the scandal in the docuseries.
He continued, “Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters. And at that time, we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for. But ultimately, it is our private life.”
Victoria added: “Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else, but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either.”
“And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me,” she noted. “It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town, right? Unless you’re in it.”
Despite the circus clearly taking a toll on their relationship, David and Victoria Beckham worked through it, and they’re still married 20 years since the scandal.
Now, their lives seem a lot more mundane, but fans still love to see what they’re doing throughout the day.
In preparation for Christmas, the former LA Galaxy player took to Instagram to show how he and Victoria were spending their day.
While the athlete cooked, his wife did a chore that she didn’t seem so fond of, raising questions about what other famous women might do the same.
“So I’m doing my cranberry sauce, and as Chandler would say, ‘Chanberry sauce.’” Beckham began in his Instagram Story, referring to the Friends character.
“And over here…” he continued as the camera panned to Victoria, who was bent over as she reached for the trash cans.
“I’m doing the bins,” the former Spice Girl said.
“And I’m just saying, I bet that Jennifer Lopez doesn’t do bins,” the 49-year-old joked.
“Yeah, but you’re not Jennifer Lopez, to be fair,” David countered, while his wife replied, “But I bet she doesn’t do bins, does she?”
The footballer agreed with his wife that Lopez probably doesn’t take out her own trash before going straight to the source for their inquiry.
“Question … @jlo do you have to do the bins?” Victoria captioned her Instagram Story
Despite the fact that other women of her stature might not be doing the same chores, fans love that fact that Victoria still seems down to earth after so many years of mega-fame.
She went on to celebrate Christmas by giving her husband a gift that isn’t very high-brow, either: some chickens.
“I got some chickens and a cockerel,” David said in a video, in which he can be seen wearing a Santa hat while sprinkling seeds.
From behind her camera, the fashion designer referred to them as “Beckham chickens” and says that they’re “a bit camera shy.”
