It seems as though Diesel is ready to put their feud behind them and start anew…

He shared a post to Instagram asking Johnson to return for the 10th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Diesel started the post directed at the star: “My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10.”

He added: “As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits.”

He went on to say that Hobbs “can’t be played by no other…”

“I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. (Paul Walker) I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play. Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.”

His post comes just a month after Dwayne opened up about his past tensions with Diesel on the set of Hobbs and Shaw

In his Vanity Fair interview, Dwayne revealed that he regretted his Instagram post berating the actor after the filming of the movie, where he labeled Diesel and other male costars as “candy asses” and “chicken sh*t.”

Speaking about the viral post, Johnson explained that while he meant everything he said, he went about it the wrong way…

“It caused a firestorm. Yet interestingly enough…[it was] as if every single crew member found their way to me and either quietly thanked me or sent me a note. But, yeah, it wasn’t my best day, sharing that. I shouldn’t have shared that. Because at the end of the day, that goes against my DNA. I don’t share things like that. And I take care of that kind of bulls**t away from the public,” Dwayne said.

So it doesn’t look very likely that we’ll be seeing him in any future movies, at least not if he’s sharing scenes with Diesel but we’ll just have to wait and see…
