Vlogger, Jeff Wittek, who filmed a dangerous stunt with David Dobrik has sued the content creator after he almost died during a video.
Jeff Wittek came close to death after he took part in a stunt that involved Dobrik operating a crane that Wittek was attached to by a rope.
The stunt, which saw Wittek being swung around the crane, was supposed to be part of Dobrik’s event for influencers.
However, just moments into the dangerous maneuver, Dobrik realizes he was swinging Wittek too fast and stops suddenly, forcing him to collide with the metal crane.
Onlookers, who appear to be part of the stunt, rush to Wittek’s aid after seeing him slam into the arm.
After being rushed to the hospital, doctors informed Wittek that he broke his hip and foot, and also had multiple fractures to his skull, nearly causing him to lose his eye.
Wittek is now suing Dobrik for $10 million to pay for the damages caused.
Dobrik has since called the stunt “the biggest regret of my life,” however, he insists it was Wittek’s idea and has said he told him to promise “no one ever knows that this was my idea.”
Wittek has responded to these claims, saying he’s “just not that type of guy.”
Wittek later spoke out about the incident on his YouTube channel, Jeff FM, explaining that he and Dobrik weren’t on good terms…
He said: “I’ve been protecting this guy for so long and there’s so much more to the story than just him not texting me for a week after I had such a drastic surgery where I could’ve been blind.
“Imagine you smash somebody’s skull in, they take it on the chin, they don’t sue you, they don’t f****** press charges.
“I nearly died I came an inch from death and an inch from going blind.”
