So, keep scrolling to find out exactly what happened.

Now, many businesses have had to close their doors for good due to the lack of income…

Resulting in a scarily high number of unemployed people.

People all around the world have had to pick up temporary jobs in grocery stores and warehouses in order to make ends meet…

But some of the most in-demand jobs out there right now are, of course, fast-food and delivery jobs.

And workers for popular delivery services such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Domino’s have found themselves working harder than ever during these turbulent times.

But just because they’ve been kept busy with non-stop orders…

That doesn’t mean they’re not struggling.

Many fast-food workers and delivery drivers are paid a notoriously low wage by the companies they work for…

And more often than not, they have to rely on tips to make ends meet – especially here in the United States.

Well, one stressed-out Domino’s worker experienced this turmoil recently…

And his reaction to getting a $0 tip after working hard to make a delivery in some very bad weather has gone viral.

People are shocked over how little these workers are paid…

And have also been sharing their own experiences of working in the hospitality industry and how difficult it can be to make ends meet.

TikTok user @leaks._.world, who goes by the name Malik, posted his eye-opening video on Sunday.

The video starts by showing Malik standing in the back room of the Domino’s branch where he works, surrounded by pizza boxes.

“No!” he shouts, with his head in his hands. “I don’t want to work here anymore!”

His co-worker, who was filming the commotion, is heard laughing and telling him to “calm down.”

“5 minutes out there in the rain, and no tip?!” he then yells, getting more and more frustrated.

Malik then screams, “No tip!”…

Before smashing his hands into the pile of pizza boxes, sending them scattering to the ground.

The video has been viewed more than 1 million times, with many expressing their sympathy…

And in response to many of the comments, Malik revealed that not only was he not tipped; the customer didn’t even appreciate his work.

“If she would’ve gave me a dollar or even apologized for the rain that I’m soaked in I woulda been fine,” he wrote.

Malik has since left his Cash App details on his TikTok page in the hope of generous donations…

And now, another incident, where a woman has been fired after receiving a rather large tip, has shown just how difficult it can be to work in hospitality.

A waitress, who worked in the Oven and Tap, Bentonville, Arkansas, has recently been fired for reportedly not following rules.

But this is after the $4,400 tip, in which she and her colleague were gifted, had been taken over by her manager.

A $4,400 tip? That’s Crazy, who gave her that? You might be wondering…

Well, a man who owns a real estate company, Grant Wise, planned a dinner at the restaurant, with each member of the dinner contributing a $100 tip, as per the Daily Mail.

He wanted to give to hospitality staff, who he knows have been struggling during the pandemic.

Wise actually told Fox News that he had also called the restaurant beforehand to confirm that the staff does not share tips, and they said they don’t. So, Wise and the other members joining the dinner to be able to choose who they surprise such a generous tip with.

In the video, Wise said: “Tonight we are hosting a $100 dinner club. Everybody at this table has contributed or tipped $100 for you and for the other waitress who unfortunately had to go home because she wasn’t feeling well.”

And at this moment, the waitress, Ryan Brandt, who he was standing beside, broke down in tears.

“And then we put it out to our social media channels, and we actually had quite a bit more money sent in, so we are tipping a total of $4,400,” he finished in the video.

But, it all went downhill when Brandt’s manager told her that she had to share her tip with the rest of the staff…

And then fired her…

Talking to Fox News, Brandt said: “I was told that I was going to be giving my cash over to my shift manager and I would be taking home 20 percent.

But, the woman had never had to do this before, and she’d been working there for 3 and a half years.

And the young waitress just wanted to start paying off her student loans after studying Spanish at University.

Wise, who presented the waitress with the tip, later found out that she had been fired. So, he took to Facebook, where he shared his frustration.

“I’m so saddened to hear that the girl we tipped the other night at our $100 Dinner Club has been fired from her job,” he began.

“I don’t fully understand why this would happen to what seems like such a sweet and kind-hearted woman. Nonetheless, I’m committed to showing her that there are great people in the world that will do good when they can!

“I’ve started a GoFundMe page to help her raise some money to cover her expenses for the next couple of months to help her get through the holidays with the least possible amount of stress so she can focus on getting back on her feet,” he finished.

And people have donated $8,732 to Brandt, with the fundraiser now being shut down.

It’s safe to say Brandt’s faith has been restored, and she’s also been employed by another restaurant, too.

We’re so sorry this happened to you, Brandt… But, when 1 door closes, another door opens, right?

What do you think?
