It’s a cactus toy that’s hit headlines this week.

As many unsuspecting parents bought it and were met with a nasty surprise.

What seemed like an innocent toy was anything but.

In fact, it actually started singing songs containing references to drugs, and cuss words.

“This toy uses swear words and talking about cocaine use,” Ania Tanner told CTV News Toronto. 

“This is not what I ordered for my granddaughter.”

The twist is, all of the profane language was not in English.

“It just so happens that I am Polish and when I started to listen to the songs and I heard the words,” Tanner said.

“I was in shock. I thought what is this some kind of joke?”

It’s since been discovered that the song was by Polish Rapper Cypis, who had no idea his song had been taken for the toy.

It’s also been discovered that Walmart were not aware of the strange product on their site.

“These items are sold by a third-party seller on our marketplace website. We are removing the items while we look into this complaint further,” a Walmart spokesperson told CTV News.

Tanner claims to be relieved the situation is resolved.

“I just don’t want anybody before Christmas to think this is a great toy and go online and have the same thing happen, that happened to me.”
