Will Smith Has Put the Mansion From 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' on Airbnb | 22 Words

Calling all The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air fans...

You can now stay in the actual Bel-Air mansion.

No, this not a drill.

Over the weekend, Will Smith shared a photo of himself and old pal, DJ Jazzy Jeff, standing in front of the iconic mansion...

Alongside a caption that pondered the possibility of the old building being rented out. "YOOOO!! Y’all think we should rent out the @freshprince house??"

Well, he evidently decided in favor of the idea...

Because it has been confirmed today that the infamous mansion is now available to rent on Airbnb.

And, just when you thought this news couldn't get any better...

It is astoundingly cheap to rent, too.

Now, this news has been welcomed very warmly...

Because, back in 1990, Fresh Prince captured the hearts of thousands. The hit TV show followed the journey of a poor, streetwise young man from Philadelphia who is sent by his mother to live with his aunt, uncle, and cousins in their Bel-Air mansion.

We all know Will Smith's catchy rap that opens the show...

West Philadelphia, born and raised... Yeah, you know the rest.

The show is a 1990's dream...

And fans were quick to fall in love with all of the hilarious characters.

Even though Will took center stage...

The rest of the cast were never overlooked. For instance, James Avery was terrific as the imposing Uncle Phil. Patriarch of the Banks clan, Philip gradually evolved from Will's scowling nemesis into a more gentle giant as the show went on.

Then there was the no-nonsense Aunt Viv...

She was played first by Janet Hubert-Whitten and then by Daphne Maxwell Reid from season 4 onwards.

And of course, we could never forget Carlton.

Alfonso Ribeiro was perfect as Will's arrogant yet loveable cousin that he became forever typecast and the "Carlton Dance" - usually performed to Tom Jones's 1965 hit "It's Not Unusual" - has become an iconic piece of TV comedy.

The sitcom is now considered a classic...

And ever since the last episode in 1996, the show continues to be more popular than ever before.

Rumors of a Fresh Prince reunion have floated for years...

But they have always been hastily shut down by former cast members.

Many of us fans have accepted this fate...

But, thanks to Will, we have recently been graced with something almost as good.

As we explained earlier, the iconic Bel-Air mansion is now available to rent out.

Can you just imagine the vacations and get-aways you and your friends could have in the infamous Bel-Air house?

To celebrate the show's thirtieth anniversary...

Will Smith has signed a partnership with the mansion's owners to rent off a wing of the home on Airbnb.

Surprisingly, the mansion is actually located in the upscale LA neighborhood, Brentwood...

Not Bel-Air, as originally anticipated.

And the series wasn't actually filmed inside the mansion...

Though it has since been redecorated to resemble the show and to give the illusion that the characters have lived there, with an opulent bedroom film with graffiti art, memorabilia, and a hat and sneaker collection display.

But, regardless of the location, it is still the Bel-Air home we all know and love...

And it makes for a stunning vacation spot in real life.

The house comes with a lot of perks...

On the listing, Will wrote: "Ready for the freshest staycation ever? If this place looks familiar that’s because it’s just as fly as it was when I first rolled up the driveway. I’m back. And this time, I’m handing you the keys so you’ll have my wing of the mansion all to yourself — but my sneaker collection is off-limits, aight?"

Will explained how guests will be "virtually welcomed" into the mansion by DJ Jazzy Jeff...

Before adding that a "socially distanced concierge will greet you upon arrival and give you the lay of the land." However, he did ask that all guests wear facemasks and maintain 6-feet of social distancing upon arrival.

However, once inside, guests can imitate DJ Jazzy Jeff by spinning on turntables...

Or they can simply try out a "fly look" from a closet stocked with clothing inspired by Will's TV character.

Guests will be given free rein of the kitchen...

But they will also be served regular meals in the elegant wood-paneled dining room... On silver trays, of course.

And for those simply wanting to relax and unwind...

A gorgeous backyard swimming pool is at every guests' disposal.

Bookings for the mansion won't begin until September 29th...

And the home is only available for limited dates in October, so it will likely sell out almost immediately.

And it is insanely cheap.

Guests can rent the mansion for only $30 per night, though this only covers one private room for 2 guests.
