Every mother can tell you a labor story that will knock you out of your shoes. But these 7 are the craziest birth stories around.

From giving birth on a flight to having your 4-year-old daughter deliver your baby, all of these stories sound like fiction, but they all really happened and we'll tell you all about them right here!

But the craziest one of all took place in Glasgow last year. A teenage girl didn't know that she was pregnant until the day she went into labor. No, she didn't have a baby bump. But doctors say there's a perfectly normal explanation for it.

A couple of days ago, another unexpected baby delivery happened in the middle of a McDonald's car park. But not before the mother got her quarter pounder!

Scroll down for the full story and the reactions of McDonald's staff to their unusual day on the job.

There have been some crazy labor and delivery stories over the past few years.

But as horrifying as they may sound, everyone came out of them okay and they all have a great story to tell now!

One woman gave birth on a short flight from LA to Seattle.

Babble has compiled a list of the craziest labor stories women and this is one of them. One woman was on the way to her baby shower when her water broke mid-flight.

At first, she thought that her bladder had simply failed her.

But then the contractions began. Luckily, there was a doctor on the plane who assisted the quick delivery; the baby was born just forty-five minutes after the water broke.

The plane landed fifteen minutes later.

There was an ambulance waiting right outside the plane which took the mother and the baby to the nearest hospital. Both of them were safe and healthy. But you don't always need an experienced doctor to help you with delivery, as the next mom's story proves.

4-year-olds can assist baby deliveries too.

Emma was alone at home with her 4-year-old daughter when she went into labor. Her husband and midwife were on their way.

But the labor was very active and the 4-year-old was the only one who could help.

And she did! She had listened to her mom's birth prep recordings and participated in her at-home prenatal appointments. So when Emma went into labor, the girl coached her to "breathe deeply and visualize your body opening like a flower."

She also gently massaged her mom's back.

The baby boy was born just a few moments after her husband and the midwife arrived. The young girl was there the whole time. Never underestimate children's abilities!

This next woman went into labor after being scared by a rattlesnake.

Natalie's labor was overdue by two weeks so she decided to walk around her land in the country, hoping to induce it.

Suddenly, she heard a rattlesnake and stumbled backward.

The snake was 6 foot long, resting on top of some rocks, flicking its tongue at Natalie.

She went into labor on her speedy walk back to the house.

Her husband took Natalie to the hospital... but not before he took a photo of the miracle snake. Who was it if not Mother Nature that sent the lizard-helper to the exhausted mother-to-be?

Unfortunately, Mother Nature can't reach you in the middle of an LA traffic jam. That's when fate must step in.

This mom was already in labor, trying to get to the hospital when she got stuck in dead-still traffic.

It was her third baby, but this one was moving much faster than its siblings.

She called her OB to ask what to do. Turns out her OB was stuck in the same traffic on her way to the hospital.

And there was only a few cars between them.

The OB was driving with her husband, so she left the car to him and hopped in with the mother to help her to deliver the baby.

This next woman was prepared to have a dreaded C-section but eventually didn't have to.

From the very beginning, Danielle wanted a vaginal birth, but at thirty-eight weeks her baby was still in the breech position. She didn't want to risk it with vaginal birth and agreed to a C-section.

She had even tried doing handstands in the pool to turn the baby around, but it didn't work.

The night before her C-section, she ate a spicy Indian meal with her husband.

And the following evening, she went in for surgery.

But then her OB gave her stomach a feel and told her that she needed an ultrasound.

The ultrasound showed that her baby had flipped overnight!

So she was sent home to wait for natural labor. And it came 4 days later, after eating even more Indian food! But believe it or not, this isn't the craziest labor story.

One woman in Glasgow didn't even know she was pregnant until she woke up one morning and went into labor.

According to LadBible, the baby arrived as quickly as it was discovered - just forty-five minutes later.

She neither had a bump nor her period in the months that preceded.

She believed her period was gone because of the contraceptive pills that she was taking at the time.

"The doctors couldn't explain why I didn't have a bump," the teen told the Scottish Daily Record.

She added, "I hadn't taken a pregnancy test, I had no symptoms, nothing."

"They just told me that she must have been sitting in my lower back and that it is quite common."

Thankfully, everything went well and she gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Now another unexpected childbirth has taken place, and this one was at an Australian McDonald's.

But the lady wasn't going to give birth before her quarter pounder arrived - one of our own, for sure.

Her water broke while she and her husband were sitting in their car at a McDonald's car park in Melbourne, according to Daily Mail Australia.

It may not be the most romantic story...

But it's the most realistic ones, and that's why we love it.

The couple called 000.

But once they hung up the phone, they realized that it might be a bit of a wait. What were they going to do with all that extra time?

Naturally, the woman sent her husband into McDonald's to pick up the essentials.

That, of course, included a quarter pounder. And,  hopefully, some water (not coke), too!

Wouldn't want to go into labor hungry, now would you?

Licensee, Ainsley Shillington said, "During our lunch rush, he asked for an order for his wife who was delivering a baby in the car park."

"We served the customer as quickly as possible with drinks and a dinner box and he proceeded on his way."

"The crew at the time were quite concerned," she added.

"When they saw the ambulance in attendance they knew they were well and truly looked after."

"Everyone thought it was quite fun to have such an occurrence in the car park."

She also said that the husband appeared exhausted when he came in.

But that's understandable - his wife was giving birth at the most inconvenient time possible!

The ambulance arrived quickly and took the couple to the hospital.

The quarter pounder was most likely still in her hand. The best Happy Meal ever!
