First, you could do the rational thing and talk to him about it. Secondly, we have the dramatic option… Leaving his a** in the past. Or the third option is to sue him like one tired woman from Zambia did to her man.

According to the local news website Tuko, Gertrude Ngoma had enough of waiting around.

After spending 8 years with her long-term boyfriend, Herbert Salaliki, and even having a child with him, Gertrude thought they would have gotten married by now.

To her dismay, she is still only a “girlfriend.”

However, Gertrude wasn’t just going to just accept it without getting some revenge, so she decided to take Herbert to court so she could sue him for “wasting her time.”

In court, she demanded that her boyfriend outline his plans for the future, specifically in terms of their relationship…

“He has never been serious,” she told them. “That is why I bought him to court because I deserve to know the way forward and our future.”

It has been reported by the outlet that Herbert actually paid the dowry but has still not proposed… So what is he waiting for?

Gertrude fears that he may be talking to another woman and that’s the main reason why he hasn’t proposed because she’s always made her intentions clear.

The judge concluded that the pair would be better settling this out of court as it would benefit them both more. Also, there wasn’t enough evidence to make any sort of arrest, but even if there was, can you even get arrested for not choosing to propose? God knows!

Either way, we hope Gertrude and Herbert manage to work it out.
