Our beloved Spider-Man, otherwise known as Peter Parker, or Tom Holland, has come a long way since his 1st 2016 Civil War appearance. He’s enjoyed every second of his superhero experience over the years, and he even found his MJ, but not just in the cinematic world of the marvel universe.

And we all love to see how they swoon around each other… Well, maybe not all, as the Spider-Man producer actually told them not to date. Yikes.

Starting as an unknown theatre boy from England, Holland was catapulted to unprecedented levels of fame in 2016 after his Marvel debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Of course to begin with, many were a little shocked to hear that such an unknown actor had been cast in such a big role.

But, Holland soon showed how perfect the casting was.

Directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo said that Holland had the edge because of his prior experience as a gymnast. In the script, Spiderman flipped in a scene, and Holland reportedly offered to perform the stunt himself during one of the auditions.

He is an incredible actor and is also well known for his comically loveable personality off-screen.

We all remember the time he accidentally let slip that his character had died in Infinity War to an audience full of people who hadn’t yet seen the movie.

Big whoops.

There’s no surprise that people simply can’t get enough of the actor…

And recently it has been no different…

Holland recently paused an interview so that he could watch his girlfriend, Zendaya, walk the red carpet.

And it’s safe to say, it has melted fans’ hearts…

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Holland opened up about playing Spider-Man.

“This whole journey from the day I got cast. My agents are here, we were just talking about the moment I got my first callback, and we really thought like, Oh wow, maybe I could actually get this job!” he said.

“I am blown away. To share it with my friends, my family — honestly this means the world to me.”

He then moved on to talk about MCU rumours, but before he could say too much he was interrupted by screams.

Pausing to look around, Holland said: “I think Zendaya just showed up. That sounds like Zendaya just showed up.”

Holland and the interviewer then stood watching Zendaya as she made her entrance to the premiere.

Before turning back around to continuing the interview.

How cute!

And now, producer of Spider-Man, Amy Pascal, has talked to the New York Times about Zendaya and Tom…

Saying that they “ignored” her advice, just like those who she talked to before.
Scroll on to find out more about the producer’s advice for the lovers not to follow their hearts.

“I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture: ‘Don’t go there — just don’t. Try not to,'” she said, as per Glamour.

And this advice comes as the producer has seen a pattern in Spider-Men falling in love with their MJ not only on-screen but off-screen, too.

Andrew Garfield dated Emma Stone for years before splitting up, and Tobey Maguire dated Kristen Dunst, before going their separate ways, as well.

“I gave the same advice to Andrew and Emma. It can just complicate things, you know? And they all ignored me,” she said.

But something about Zendaya and Tom’s love just hits different, am I right?

So, even if Pascal has little faith in the 2 because of past experiences with Spider-Men dating their MJ, it doesn’t mean it won’t work.

And honestly, all that really matters is that they’re following what makes them happy.

We are so over the moon for the couple, and our spider tingles are telling us they’re set for the long haul.

What do you think?
