Released by Universal Pictures on August 5th, The Little Rascals went on to become one of the most memorable family comedies of our time.

The movie was actually an adaptation of the series, Our Gang...

But it became legendary in its own right.

The Little Rascals is centered on the adventures of a group of neighborhood children.

Mischievous youngsters, Spanky - played by Travis Tedford - and Buckwheat - Ross Elliot Bagley - lead an anti-girl organization, the "He-Man Woman Haters Club" and they pick their friend, Alfalfa - Bug Hall- to represent them in an all-important soapbox car rally.

But, when the boys find Alfafa canoodling with their schoolmate, Darla...

They take it upon themselves to break the couple up.

But, thanks to this distraction, the club's beloved go-cart is stolen by local neighborhood bullies, Butch and Woim.

And what ensues is a hilarious journey as the boys struggle to choose between letting their friend pursue his one true love and getting their go-cart back and winning the derby.

Though the film isn't critically acclaimed, it is considered an American icon...

And it has so many memorable and hilarious moments, like this scene where Spanky dresses up as a little girl.

And, of course, yours truly made a quick appearance.

Brittany Ashton Holmes, who played the role of Darla when she was only 5-years-old, retired from acting in 1996 and has recently graduated with a political science degree.

And what about Spanky?

Travis Tedford, the actor who played the lead role of the lovable Spanky, has also retired from acting and is now a marketing professional working at the Texas Trust Credit Union.

As for Buckwheat?

Well, Ross Bagley has enjoyed a successful career as an actor, and started a forty-eight-episode stint on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alongside Will Smith at the same time as The Little Rascals. Ross carried his relationship with Will Smith over to the hit action film Independence Day, where he played Will’s son.

And what about Alfalfa?

Well, sadly, the actor who played the role of the adorable Alfalfa isn't doing as well as his castmates.

Initially, Bug Hall found a remarkable amount of success.

Following on from his role in The Little Rascals, Hall continued acting and starring in family films.

Though he’s continued to pull in small acting roles, he also pursued ventures and projects as a writer and producer.

But, sadly, things have taken a dark turn for the actor.

Over the weekend, TMZ reported that the actor had been arrested.

The Weatherford Police Department in Texas was responding to a possible overdose.

The department told the publication that one of Hall's concerned family members actually called in asking the police to check on him.

The police arrived at the hotel in which he was staying...

And, when he opened the door, they were greeted with the sight of empty air duster cans, which he had evidently been inhaling.

Hall allegedly admitted straight away to inhaling the canisters...

And he was arrested on the spot for misdemeanor possession for use to inhale or ingest a volatile chemical. He put up no struggle and cooperated with the police.

Hall is yet to comment on his arrest.
