A heartbreaking update on Jamie Foxx’s condition has been offered after months of speculation.
It comes more than a month after his hospitalization.
And has left the internet feeling emotional!
“I’m just so worried about him!” wrote one fan.
“This sounds really serious and scary,” added another.
The actor had previously broken his silence on the matter…
But now, more shocking updates about his condition have been revealed, after news that he was “partially paralyzed and blind,” began to circulate.
As he remains in hospital, he’s had some pretty important visitors by his side.
Which has left fans even more concerned.
And even more recently, it’s been reported that Foxx has moved hospitals to a specialist facility, that specializes in some very serious conditions.
Which has revealed more about what actually happened to him.
“This is so sad to read,” one fan wrote.
“Sending all my thoughts and prayers,” added another.
Jamie Foxx is an Oscar-winning actor known for films including Django, Collateral, and Ray.
But he’s been hit with a tragedy this month.
Earlier this month, Jamie was photographed on set in Atlanta.
He was filming his latest movie, Back in Action.
It marks Cameron Diaz’s return to acting after a long retirement.
Diaz has spoken highly of her time working with Foxx.
She told The Tonight Show: “He’s so great, he’s so easy, he’s so professional, he’s so talented.”
“And just being able to work with him, it’ll be so much fun.”
It seems Foxx was similarly excited about the project.
Jamie said: “We just begged and pleased on my knees, like, ‘Just give the people one more again.’ We love her, we’ve been waiting on her and this is just gonna be fantastic.”
But on a Tuesday morning last month, tragedy struck on set.
According to TMZ, sources revealed the actor had suffered a “medical emergency.”
TMZ confirmed: “We’re told his condition was serious enough that Jamie’s family – some of whom were not in town – came to the hospital.”
“One source told us, ‘He’s communicating now, and that’s good news’.”
His daughter Corinne Foxx shared an update post on Instagram.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”
TMZ claims: “It’s unclear exactly how Jamie came to discover the still unspecified complication, or if he was experiencing symptoms that prompted him to get checked out.”
However, it’s not all been an easy to road to recovery, and the star has remained in hospital since.
Not much has been revealed from Foxx’s family or friends so far…
But now, Nick Cannon has given a heartbreaking update.
And fans have been left distraught.
One wrote: “My prayers are with Jamie. May he get well soon. Signed a Prayer Warrior.”
While another said:
“Sounds like his condition is more serious than they have announced!”
A third sent prayers:
“Get well prayers are there may the Lord touch your body and soul and heal you in his name my friend amen.”
This comes after Cannon told Entertainment Tonight he was praying for the star.
He said: “Man, I’m praying.”
“You see, I posted on Instagram.“
“I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother.”
“I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him, and do him a favour.”
Cannon refused to say what that favour is, but he did say that it will be “out there soon.”
He continued: “I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon.
“I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake.”
In an homage to Foxx on Instagram, Cannon added: “Prayer Changes Things! Living Testament!”
“Let’s all speak complete and total recovery for the most talented human on earth with a Spirit bigger than this small planet!!”
“God’s power is working through you as we speak!”
“Sickness, Low frequencies nor negativity have any authority over your life King!”
Foxx then broke his social media silence.
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” Foxx wrote in an Instagram post.
“Appreciate ya my boy @NickCannon,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “See u all soon.”
But despite Foxx’s update, he still remains in hospital.
And fans are continuing to wish him well, commenting their prayers on his most recent Instagram update.
“Prayed for you and Still Praying for you God Please pull him Through to Full Recovery,” wrote one.
“Take care. Come back stronger as ever,” wish another.
A third wrote, “Please pull through Foxx!! Most talented & humble ever to touch Hollywood!!!”
However, not everyone is convinced Foxx’s recovery is going smoothly, following a confusing update from his daughter Corinne.
As soon after, shared a post on her Instagram story about her Dad.
Paired with a news article headlined ”Jamie Foxx’s Loved Ones Reportedly Preparing For The Worst,” she wrote:
“Sad to see how the media runs wild. My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support!”

But, despite Foxx’s daughter saying her Dad is out of hospital…
It’s been reported by TMZ that he still remains under professional medical care in a specialist facility in Chicago.
And fans think Foxx is not as well as he may seem…
”Something don’t seem right,” one person commented on his Instagram update.
Another questioned if Jamie was even the one to write the update, asking ”WHO REALLY posted this tho?”
“The man is supposed to be doing better and “playing pickleball” but can’t shoot a 15-second video letting his fans know he’s okay. Mindblowing,” said a third.
Whilst it’s still not confirmed what happened to him, his recent move to the rehabilitation centre in Chicago has left fans more concerned than ever.
As TMZ reports that the facility specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab and cancer rehabilitation.
He reportedly moved there in late April, and has remained hospitalized ever since.
And he had some pretty important visitors over the weekend.
The star was visited by his daughters Corinne and Annalise, as well as Annalise’s mother, Kristin Grannis.
The family seemed in good spirits, and were seen leaving with Mother’s Day balloons and flowers.
His youngest daughter, Annalise, 13, was also seen with her guitar – so it looks like she was playing and singing for her dad too.
Whilst his family seem in good spirits, it’s still unclear when Foxx will have made a full recovery.
However, he is currently undergoing physical therapy, which is hopefully a move in the right direction.
Soon after, Mike Tyson offered yet another worrying update …
The ex-boxer opened up on an appearance on the Valuetainment podcast.
Mike said of Jamie: “He’s not feeling well.”
Next, a conspiracy theorist tried to blame the COVID vaccine for Foxx’s condition.
Allegedly claiming it had left him “partially paralyzed and blind”.
In a statement to NBC, a rep for Foxx claimed this was “wildly inaccurate.”
