We’ve all heard of Jimmy Fallon.
His talk show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, quickly became a household favorite after the first episode premiered all the way back in 2014.
And he has a broadly positive reputation …
Using his influential platform, Fallon has supported many causes including national foodbanks and cancer charities.
But that’s not all.

A video from 2000 took the internet by storm for its offensive use of blackface.
Yep, you heard that right.
For those of you that still don’t seem to understand why black/brown face is so offensive, firstly, sort yourselves out.
Secondly, we’ve got the facts here for you.
It happened in all sorts of places. From comedy shows to Halloween costumes. They would compare them to monkeys while simultaneously acting in a humiliating manner to depict black people as uncivilized.
Utterly disgusting.
It’s extremely offensive.
So, in all cases, avoid it.
You can still be Samuel L. Jackson for Halloween without painting yourself black. Just get a beret, a blazer, and some thick-framed glasses. It’s easy.
Yet, Fallon fell into this trap.
Suited in a brown leather jacket, a black turtleneck, and black face paint, the talk show host took on the role of Chris Rock in what has been described as a “racist” move.
It was shocking.
After the video started circling online, Twitter users joined forces to call out Fallon for his actions.
People were not happy.
And fans have branded his former actions as offensive and disgusting.
And it seems as though others are also being dragged into the mess too.
This was not good for his career at all.
Finally, Fallon spoke out about the incident.
“In 2000, while on SNL, I made a terrible decision to do an impersonation of Chris Rock while in blackface. There is no excuse for this. I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accountable,” he wrote solemnly.
Some accepted the apology.
Many others didn’t.
And it seems that respect has been lost for the comedian.
As many were struggling to believe his authenticity surrounding the situation.
People just aren’t buying his apology…
And it seems that more and more respect is gradually being lost for Fallon.
And now, an expose into his show has made matters much worse.
And who knows if he will ever be forgiven this time.
Rolling Stone has released a new bombshell report alleging toxic workplace behavior from Fallon.
Runners refer to “good Jimmy days” or “bad Jimmy days.”
They also allege he was sometimes drunk on set.
And emotional workers referred to some of the dressing rooms as “crying rooms,” where they would go to cry during tense workdays.
People were worried Jimmy “might fly off” at any moment.
They also lived in fear of being fired, for no reason, and at any moment.
And now, Fallon has responded.
“I’m sorry if I embarrassed you. I never set out to create that type of atmosphere at the show. I think sometimes I’m working with the best of the best, you guys are the top of the game,” he told staff according to Deadline.
“I want this show to be fun, it should be inclusive for everybody, it should be funny, it should be the best show, the best people. I just wanted to… say I miss you guys.”
And now, Jerry Seinfeld has spoken up in Fallon’s defence.
The Rolling Stone expose makes mention of a moment where: “Seinfeld told Fallon to apologize to the cue-card production member, which he then allegedly did. The employees say this incident, which felt awkward to watch, did not make it to the version of the show that appeared on television.”
“It was very awkward, and Jerry was like, ‘You should apologise to him,’ almost trying to make it a joke,” a former employee said. “It was one of the strangest moments ever and so many people were there, so it’s kind of hard to forget.”
However, Seinfeld has hit back at the accusation.
“This is so stupid. I remember this moment quite well… I teased Jimmy about a flub, and we all had a fun laugh about how rarely Jimmy is thrown off,” he told the outlet.
“It was not uncomfortable at all. Jimmy and I still occasionally recall it and laugh. Idiotic twisting of events.”
But now, a past interaction with Amy Poehler isn’t looking too good for the Fallon.
“Amy she did something vulgar as a joke. I can’t remember what it was exactly, except it was dirty and loud and ‘unladylike,’” Tiny Fey recalled in her autobiography, Bossypants.
“Jimmy Fallon turned to her and in a faux-squeamish voice said, ‘Stop that! It’s not cute! I don’t like it. Amy dropped what she was doing, went black in the eyes for a second, and wheeled around on him. ‘I don’t f**king care if you like it.’”
“Amy made it clear that she wasn’t there to be cute,” wrote Fey. “She wasn’t there to play wives and girlfriends in the boys’ scenes. She was there to do what she wanted to do and she did not f–king care if you like it.”
