Summer is on the horizon and, as the weather gets warmer, many of us will be taking a dip in the pool.

And it seems the latest pool product to go viral has well and truly taken the internet by storm, with good reason...

Ahh, Summer. The season most of us yearn for. The days are longer, you have more energy, and don't have to worry about bundling up to leave your house.

Summer is by far my favorite season. Some people complain about the heat, but they probably haven't had to endure below freezing temps for half of the year.

Whether you frequent the ocean or lakes, jumping in some type of water on a hot day is the best way to cool off.

Or perhaps you have a pool in your backyard? That's the better option because you never have to leave your house. And you know how clean the water is.

But some people prefer to visit a public beach.

I don't mind it myself. In fact, I always like to people watch. A trait I've passed down to my kids, no doubt.

When you do go to a beach, there are always notably interesting things to see.

Aside from the people, sometimes there are pretty amazing sandcastles. I am still working on my castle building skills.

My kids always seem to point out things I might miss while at the beach.

My oldest, for example, thinks donut floaties are just the coolest.

I, on the other hand, prefer the pretzel floatie.

Probably because soft pretzels are like my favorite thing ever.

We have also seen our fair share of unicorn floaties - another favorite of my kids.

You can't help but say a unicorn floatie is pretty sweet. I can see the allure.

But, just when you think the manufacturers of pool floats have invented it all, brace yourself.

Because this is the top dog of pool floaties. I don't know if you can even handle what I am about to expose. Lo and behold...

The motorized pool float.

The days of kicking around on a float to get to the other end of the pool are long gone.

With the Splash Runner, you can just sit back, relax, and ride. Just don't forget to put on some sunscreen. Because if you're too relaxed you may fall asleep.

After all, splashing is for kids.

And we all know how annoying that can be when trying to relax under the sun.

This is the truest definition of the "lazy days of summer."

In fact, when you get hungry, just pull out your phone and order some grub off your app.

So, there you have it!
