Since the Biden-Harris election success over the weekend, books written by or about Kamala Harris have boomed in sales, new reports have found.

Here's what we know...

The race for the White House concluded over the weekend...

And Joe Biden was ultimately projected to be the forty-sixth president of the United States.

Of course, Trump wasn't at all happy about this...

And, in a lengthy statement, he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. He said this: "We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. "The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. "In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process.  Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."

The statement continued.

"Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated. "The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. "It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room – and then fight in court to block their access. "So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American People have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands."

However, on a more celebratory note, Joe Biden then spoke out after he was declared victorious...

He tweeted shortly after the news was announced that he is "honored" America has chosen him as a leader.

The vice-president-elect, Kamala Harris, then shared this video of her reacting to the news.

The clip was posted to Twitter shortly after the announcement was made.

Now, Biden's win was a historic one.

While he didn't exactly get a landslide victory, the Democratic candidate won over 74 million votes - more than any other president in American history, and exceeding the previous record Barack Obama set in 2008.

And, on top of this...

Kamala Harris has made history off her own accord.

She is the first woman in history to be elected as vice president of the United States...

As well as the first Black woman to be given the role.

This is a huge achievement for not only Harris but for women and people of color all across the country...

She truly is paving the way for a more progressive and diverse America.

Biden and Harris celebrated their victory by addressing the nation outside a convention center today in Wilmington, Delaware...

Where Harris acknowledged the importance of the win during a powerful speech, which she gave while wearing a white suit in tribute to women’s suffrage 100 years after women were guaranteed the constitutional right to vote.

People were incredibly moved by her powerful speech...

With some even been reduced to tears.

She started off by paying tribute to her mother, who had arrived in the US from India at the age of eighteen.

"I am thinking about her… and I am thinking about the generations of women, Black, White, Asian, Latina women, who throughout history have paved the way tonight."

She continued:

"And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: Dream with ambition, lead with conviction and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way."

Kamala is currently one of the most talked-about women in our country right now...

So it will come as no surprise to hear that her book sales have boomed.

Many people bought books by or about the vice president-elect over the weekend...

As they sought to educate themselves or their children about her life and her message.

4 of Amazon's ten highest-selling books on Sunday were written by or about Harris...

The Associated Press first reported, and 3 of these were children's books.

Her own children's book, "Superheroes Are Everywhere," peaked at No. 2 on Sunday.

The book's online description reads: "In this empowering and joyful picture book that speaks directly to kids, Kamala Harris takes readers through her life and shows them that the power to make the world a better place is inside all of us."

The book includes many personal touches...

Including reflections on her own childhood, family photos, illustrations, and activities for kids such as drawing.

Her memoir The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, released in August, also made it among the top ten over the weekend.

The description reads: "Through the arc of her own life, Harris communicates a vision of shared struggle, purpose, and values and grapples with complex issues that affect America and the world at large, from health care and the new economy to immigration, national security, the opioid crisis, and accelerating inequality."

Congratulations, Joe and Kamala!
